I got mine yesterday. no 'side effects' as of yet.
If I don't get at least a sore arm, I don't feel like I got my money's worth.
Well, since they were all covered at no cost to me, I'd say I probably my monies worth, maybe even yours :)

Re: Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV) and RSV Vaccine

You are welcome  I think it's reasonable to space them all out. Flu+COVID=okay, with no real change in immune response. High quality literature support. Flu+RSV=probably okay, preliminarly All 3 at once? Don't think anyone knows. I'm sure they are doing co-administration studies to see. In...

I assume this is because our awake breathing is less regular than while we sleep?
Correct.

I wonder if zombies used water pics, then their teeth wouldn't fall out.

If they don’t have teeth, how is it that zombies are eating people?

Brains are not terribly chewy.
I had them once--never saw the appeal.
Do they taste like…..frogs legs?

Not at all.

Re: AirSense 11 and Flow Limits

From my understanding, the fix for flow limitations is to add EPR. So if EPR is the fix, what is the reason for Resmed machines jacking up both the IPAP and EPAP pressures at the same time in response to flow limitations during the night? Wouldn't it make more sense for the machine to only add addi...

Re: Heating Plate issue and AHI Increase

Unfortunately I don't have OSCAR. I tried to download it a couple of times, but my computer says that it isn't a trusted source. I can usually bypass that message; however, my computer won't let me with OSCAR. I have a MAC, and I did download the MAC version. The only reason that happens is because...

Thanks... I guess I will just stay with the Resmed 36037 S9 VPAP Adapt for my CSA... any thoughts on whether the Airsense 11 Autoset would be any type of upgrade for somebody with CSA ?
-JO
Yes, Autoset machines don't treat CSA at all.

Re: CSA = Resmed S9 VPAP Adapt or Airsense 10 Autoset or Aircurve 10 ASV?

Thanks for the the info.... do you think there were any major improvements from the S9 VPAP Adapt to the Aircurve 10 ASV or has there been another machine come along that is more advanced now for CSA ? The only change between the VPAP Adapt 36037 (with ASVauto mode) and the AC10 ASV is the shape of...

The AirCurve 10 ASV is what the VPAP Adapt turned into when the 10 line came along.

The Airsense 10 Autoset is the same as the S9 Autoset.

Re: explanation needed for Timin and Timax

Great topic and useful information. Just a note, BIPAP and Bi-Level are the same mode to my knowledge. They're not a "mode". BiPAP™ is a registered trademark of philips respironics for their bilevel machines. Bilevel machines allow for different inhalation pressures and exhalation pressures, there ...

Mpn 37056 Smoke smell is very minimal. I have not tried to clean up the smoke smell at all so if you wanted me to try and sanitize the smoke smell somehow let me know how and I will try. It has 162 run hours. As far as 900 number I am not sure what you are talking about. It would probably help if y...

Re: 4 months in, horrible OA after changing from nasal to full face. Please help.

Why am I even discussing this? Ah, because you said: When using a nasal or pillow mask, the pressure can push your jaw a little forward And I questioned that the force of cpap pressure (4-20 cm) would be sufficient to actually push the mandible forward. Well, why don't you *experiment* instead of j...

There's something like 5 different "Aircurve 10" models, which? how many hours? How much smoke stench?
they're all the same machine... :)
No, they're not.

Not even to the extent that "ford trucks" are all 'trucks'.
