Re: Installing Encore Viewer 2.0 on 64 bit system
Apparently one can use Viewer on 64 bit computers but it involves needing a 32 bit computer for initial install.

Re: Cpap and Employer
I believe that i've read some where about Trucker's needing to get tested frequently if they have SA.Does this mean that under surtain circumstaces the employer must be inform? Truck drivers with CDL license have to carry their medical card and physical at all times. OSA is plainly shown as a diagn...

Re: Are my leaks too high, or OK?
I'm not very good a reading graphs but aren't the leaks shown in the second graph minor leaks? The leaks look very much under control to me and no action should be taken. Am I wrong? The medium green indicating 95% of the time at or below is a lot closer to the red line than I would be happy with. ...

Re: Whats the best APAP
It looks like a fight is in store monday! Good luck. I had one of those fights with my first choice DME who got fired. They flat out refused to supply any machine except a F & P very basic model. Had all sorts of excuses about the ResMed and Respironics brands just having too many problems, etc. I ...

Re: amazed at this person quitting therapy
The neck issue is causing headaches and balance issues. Hi Warren, I can offer my sympathy with the neck issues. Been down that road myself. Horrible headaches and horrible cervical spine pain. I finally had the surgery (might as well none of the high powered pain pills helped) because the vertebra...

If you think you want to utilize the cpapauction site you will need to have a copy of the RX on file there as well. Two separate entities even though hosted by cpap.com. There is a way to request validation but I had trouble with it so I ended up calling cpap.com and having them fax a copy to the au...

I have had it happen from time to time. Sometimes the cookie needed to stay logged in gets messed up or deleted by mistake some how.ems wrote:Thanks everyone. Really strange because I clicked "stay logged on" when I first registered.

Oh dear --- I haven't experienced rain out yet. Under what conditions does it appear. My Go Life nose piece feels fine -- I don't think it even touches my face. I need to find out more about rain out. I would hate to breath in water. That would be dangerous -- wouldn't it? No not really dangerous. ...

Re: New to Encore Viewer: Basic questions....
In Viewer the leak reported is total leak. In SleepyHead it is total leak. In Pro we have a choice..unintentional (above vent rate) or total leak. ResMed machines report unintentional leak only in ResScan. No, don't try to fix the Clear Airway events with more pressure. It won't help and could make ...

Re: Is it "snore" or mask cushion vibrations?
How could you say I don't have OSA? Ignore Avi's comment questioning your diagnosis. For some reason he has often questioned a diagnosis when he sees a report with minimal events. Minimal events simply means that the pressure is doing its job. Doesn't change the original diagnosis at all. Now if yo...

What is a barrel cozy? I use the Swift FX and got the barrel cozy last winter to help with rainout and it feels so nice that I have used it ever since. This is what it looks like for my mask. Karen at Padacheeks can make anything. She works miracles. http://www.padacheek.com/PACSwiftII_Barrel_cozy....

Re: Ruins data???
Gabe. I know your history. You admit to spending a lot of time fiddling with the mask, tossing and turning, cough etc while masked up with machine on. I have seen your reports. There are sometimes a slight increase in whatever events sometimes during up to an hour after you start the machine. You ha...

Re: Can a mask make a difference in pressure requirements?
Well that sure looks impressive. All those CAs. This was nap? I have zero experience with full face mask except for a disastrous experiment with the Hybrid. One night doesn't make a trend. So more nights with each mask needs to be documented.
