Re: Complex Sleep Apnea
I did call and they said they had never heard that one before. They said that even with their software they cannot read the error codes on the SD card. will try the machine again to be sure it is working. It appears to be OK now after unplugging/plugging. MD did agree to turn down the BPM from 12 to...

Re: how long does it take for symptoms to go away with cpap
So ladies and gents, do you ever close these troll posts and ban the isp of the poster or do you just let them roll.
Not a complaint mind you. Just want to know how the board deals with this phenomenon, so I know how to best experience the board. Thanks.

Re: Complex Sleep Apnea
I have been diagnosed with complex sleep apnea as well. When I was exposed to CPAP and BiPAP and BiPAP s/t, I developed periods of up to 1.5 minutes of no breathing and no respiratory effort with deoxygenation into the 70s. Basically the brain thinks it does not have to breathe. I am just now starin...

Re: how long does it take for symptoms to go away with cpap
RobySue and JustTia THANK YOU SO MUCH for your last posts. I am starting out and my sleep with PAP is so much worse now than before. Your posts gave me perspective and hope. A great contribution. My goal is lowering blood glucose levels that are suspected by my doctors as being driven by OSA as well...

Re: Resp. ASV 950 series turns off - "device inoperable"
Hmmm, I think way over my head on this one. Not familiar with the Hex system etc. I quess I will leave it for the call in the am, though I am intrigued with the challenge, perhaps when I am not so sleep deprived... LOL

Re: Resp. ASV 950 series turns off - "device inoperable"
Thanks for that. Didn't know that about the card. I am learning in leaps and bounds from this great board. I will call them tomorrow. I wonder if the machine will work tonight !?!?!?! Seems to be reset now.
I did look at the SD card but did not find any recognizable error codes.

Re: ASV ? breaths per minute settings
Thanks. Just checked my machine and they have it set to 12 BPM and not auto. I timed my breathing while on the machine and it felt more like 20 BPM. I will ask on Monday if we can try the auto setting. The feeling of being rushed is awful and I believe it is arousing me from sleep or at least making...

ASV ? breaths per minute settings
I am into day two of my Resp. ASV therapy (using 950 series loaner machine until 960 backorder is resolved). I notice that the machine seems to be set for a certain BPM because if I try to breath slower it kicks out a heavy pulse of pressure. Questions: Are these machines usually set up to have a sp...

Resp. ASV 950 series turns off - "device inoperable"
I am into my second day of ASV therapy with a loaner 950 series machine since the new 960 machines are backordered at the manufacturer. This morning at 7am the machine shut down, the machine's alarm went off and the LED said "device inoperable". I couldn't get the LED to clear or the alarm to turn o...
