Re: AS10 card to cloud electricity draw
For the purposes of running the AS10 on battery through the DC to DC converter and then estimating the current draw ----------- Would there be any reduction in current draw because the machine would not have to power the modem as it did in the original AS10? Some experts say to turn off the modem a...

Re: Cats, menopause and CPAP
The medical company is coming today to set up my CPAP and I'm really close to canceling. I only have mild sleep apnea and don't know if the machine is necessary. 2. I'm also worried my cat will be afraid of it and stop sleeping near me 3. I'm worried my 4 month old kitten will be irresistably drawn...

Re: Patrol the hospital halls
This might be controversial, but I think it's time! Each hospital needs to have somebody patrolling the halls listening for snorers. While not everybody who snores has Sleep Apnea and not everybody who has Sleep Apnea snores, there is a strong correlation. NOT everyone who snores has sleep apnea, a...

Re: Extension cord to use with a ResMed airsense 11
Power for a CPAP machine is low, no need for any special power cord. Just any cord you like.

Re: Resmed Airsense 11 issues
Hi I am new here. I have been using oxygen for many years. I live at altitude above 8500 and my O2 gets very low at night. I have just started using CPAP also. I have a ResMed Airsense 11 Autoset. Very easy to use. No problems with my mask etc. Started using it full night right away. HOWEVER, I was...

Re: Daaylight Savings Time
Be sure to set your clocks back tonight when you go to bed. The ONLY clock I have that doesn't set itself is the microwave, and THAT one doesn't matter, as the timer is all that's used, not the clock time. What bothers me about setting the time on my microwave, I end up being in Child Lock Mode and...

Re: Bradycardia 29
A HR of 29 is concerning. Heart rates that low are rarely sinus rhythms. Usually they're high-grade AV blocks requiring a pacemaker. However, I have seen people have vagal responses where their HR gets that low. How long was her HR that low? My Cardiologists freaked out when I hit 40 a few times, a...

Re: Tube cleaning
I believe the majority of us don't ever bother with the hoses, or if they do it would only be after long intervals or if they saw 'something' in the hose. I would find other things to worry about. :D I clean the hose if it has any different smell to it. But the VA thinks it needs to be repla...

Party lines aren't a thing anymore, either.

Re: ..now a new problem with my new RESMED model 11 ELITE
Cool-down mode fascinates the cat. First human to channel a cat. How do you like laser pointers?  Another thing: if you want to carry this all the way, remember cats do not need toilet paper. My cat has NOT THE SLIGHTEST interest in my machine, but he REALLY wants to play with my USB cha...

THAT makes a lot of sense. My machine appears to turn off OK, but I never actually checked to see if it was still slightly on. Will do that tomorrow.

Re: Resmed F20
Was recently switched to an F20 from an older F&P Simplus. I really like the way it fits without a plastic bridge on my forehead However I think it is really noisy in comparison. The noise is all coming form the tube/mask and I have no idea what it is. No leaks just whooshing air noise especially w...
