Re: Just had sleep study and have questions
If they slapped a mask on you in the middle of the night then you have OSA. They wouldn't have done that if they hadn't seen enough apnea events during the time without the mask to make the diagnosis. I guy I know, who told a story about his sleep study where he stated they also came in the middle ...

Re: Airsense 11 autoset shortage?
Existing 10 keeps showing "motor life exceeded". How many hours do you have on your existing 10? From Nick's Video, I guess that message starts to pop-up at 22,000 hours! Yep, 22,500 hours. As Nick said in his video...ResMed's problem is that they have a quality product...and it will probably last ...

Then, all of sudden your lying there in bed and you feel like the edge of nose needs to be itched! When applying the port, use a pen rather than tipping your head up against a mirror. You can guide it lower so that the air stream touches the edges of the nares less. I have also used the pen inserte...

Re: Bleep Sleep Free 2 Week Trial
@Pugsy and other Bleep users... Question for you about your experience with Bleep that I thought about...and it's kinda funny. So, you prep and attach the ports..and then go to bed! Then, all of sudden your lying there in bed and you feel like the edge of nose needs to be itched! Now most people, wh...

Was your water usage also drastically reduced? Mine was drastically reduced - I'd say I was using 1/3 the amount of water on Bleep.
If distilled water keeps going up in price as it has been, the savings in water usage alone might put a dent in the cost of the Bleep!

Re: Humidifier issue with Luna II CPAP machine
Last night, after filling my water chamber, I ran the "Mask Fit" option on my machine. In this below video, you can see the water moving due to the force of the air over the top of it...making it look like it's bubbling up or boiling I guess. Anyway, I'm curious if this may be similar to what the OP...

Re: Humidifier issue with Luna II CPAP machine
JLROhio, your description of water bubbles in an aquarium tank was more accurate than me saying the water boiled. However to bring all that responded up to date, I have spoken with a clinician at 3B Medical (the manufacturer of my Luna machine) as well as my DME provider and my Sleep Center provide...

You were cheated by Respironics.
That has not changed.
And they may still demand your nasty old machine back.
Be careful what you sign.
The rip-off may get worse.

Re: Humidifier issue with Luna II CPAP machine
I have had the Luna II since the first of December. (it replaced my recall Phillips machine). My issue/question regards the heated humidifier. I have been waking up with severe dry mouth and my nasal passages are dry and painful. I have been using CPAP for over 10 years and never had this problem. ...
