Re: Success in training use of nasal pillows for mouth breathers?
Ooo sorry to be late to the party but I have just gotten back on the board due to needing advice fon a change of machine. I too am a mouth breather all my life and have always thought that if somebody taped my mouth, I would die (nightmare material!) I tried a few full face masks but found them real...

Re: ResMed Cellular data and app question
palerider, I love it: "Yes"
Jlfinkels, those are interesting thoughts. Thanks for that. Perhaps I will try it out along with OSCAR. I note that when I get into the clinician menu, I can turn it off. Will think on it!

ResMed Cellular data and app question
Hi there. Love this place! I have a new ResMed AirCurve 10 ASV (Phillips replacement). Do I understand the cellular feature correctly? : If I want to use the cell phone app, the machine has to communicate with a the ResMed website via cellular transmission. Then the app contacts the website to give ...

ResMed Aircurve 10 ASV BPM Question
Greetings. I have been switched to the ResMed AirCurve 10 ASV machine due to the Phillips recall. I have read all the manuals and know how to access the clinician menu. It appears this machine does not have an allowed minimal Breaths per minute (BPM) setting. My Phillip did. I found adjusting this i...

Re: BTW, the Hozer tube management system is still available
Cool!! This device breaks down into small pieces and just fits into my old Respironics bag slightly diagonally. Not sure how it will fit into my new ResMed bag. Perhaps I will use the old Respironics bag, which is great, for the new machine!

BTW, the Hozer tube management system is still available
Hi yall, I am a passionate user of the Hozer tube management thing and was told by my sleep doc that they might have gone out of business. I was alarmed because this device has been so awesome in making the hose basically invisible to me. I use the Oracle mouth mask and with the Hozer, the tube come...

Re: Resmed: What not to clean with...And what I should use instead?
Thanks so much for this discussion. I have just had to switch to a ResMed ASV because of the Phillips recall and after reading all the new manuals was also baffled by the not using Dawn liquid comment, since I have been using just that daily for7 years. (mask, humidifier tub, nose plugs - I use the ...

Oh that is really great news. I didn't think that post here on the forum sounded correct. I am so thankful that you and the board is still going strong. What a blessing!
Much thanks.

Ahhh Pugsy I remember you!!!
Thanks for that fast response. I did find one other post that mentioned in order to do what you just said, the autostart feature has to be off. Does that make any sense?
I really like using autostart at least on my old Phillips machine.
Thoughts?

Can one manually reactivate ramp on Resmed Aircurve10 ASV?
Greetings. I haven't posted in a long time once I settled in on my Phillips system 1 ASV for the last 7 years. The recall required me to switch to Resmed AirCurve10 ASV which will be arriving shortly. Does the new machine have the ability to switch the ramp mode back on manually in the middle of the...

Re: Is my AutoSV machine still available?
Oops i sent a reply to your pm before i read this post. Your thoughts are noted and appreciated. Yep, still using the oracle mask. No problems. Just use the large size nose plugs. Ocassionally will fall out but rarely. Don't use the strap; just stick it in my mouth and go! I do use a self made cotto...
