Re: Covert Operations (Dont Tell)

OMG! I did mean dumb docs. You realize that a medical student has the same grade requirements to pass his classes. Unless your doc was at the top of his class; you could have gotten one of the others. Some grading is done on the curve--maybe even in medical school. And cheating can happen in any sch...

Re: OT: Low Carb eating--What is there to eat?!

I've discovered that I don't really like white bread. 100% whole wheat is much tastier, and has a much more stimulating texture. Other whole grains have a lot of interesting flavor; and the fiber helps me feel satisfied faster. It is probably wrong to use the term 'full', as it is much better not to...

Windows Vista is crap.
Microsoft should have done the right thing and offered free upgrades to 7 when it came out.

Re: oops. packed humidifier without emptying

In my Resmed bag, the connecting ports between the humidifier and the blower are supposed to face away from each other, and the divider is not removable-forcing you to separate the devices. I suspect this is more to cover THEIR hineys. Pity the text reminding us to empty the tank is upside down when...

Stupid seems to have the run of the planet--no international (or ethical) boundaries observed.

Re: Mask change central coming back!

My 95% pressure is in the 11-12 range with the Swift FX, but any of my full face masks gives me 13-14 cm. The mask setting on the machine has been set for the correct mask. Maybe it's related to the volume of air allowed through the ventilation ports. Of course, the vents are designed to flush co2 o...

Re: The Virgin

At the risk of offending my darling husband; I confess that for years, I felt like something was missing. My life was spent in a daze, I felt weepy and bitter. Somehow, I knew that others were enjoying the one thing I could not have-- the complete, utter, satisfying release that somehow could not be...

Just a thought: but wouldn't the machine fail to recognise it as a climateline if the heat element were broken?

Re: Which Tube to buy? ClimateLine?

Since I can hand wash it and soak it in my Control III disinfectant (weak solution); as long as I get it COMPLETELY dry
before plugging it back in, I might be able to make this puppy last another 16 months--or not.
I already bought its replacement. The old one could become the back-up or travel unit.
