Re: Cmparison ASV: Phillips VS Resmed

Pugsy, thanks for all these comments. They are invaluable. How else would a person even begin to evaluate the two without some personal experience such as yours! The Sleepyhead non-compatibility is not so much an issue for me anymore because after using that software intensively for a year or two, I...

Cmparison ASV: Phillips VS Resmed

Palerider just helped me so much figuring out what is going on about current asv machines. I use a Phillips system one that is aging (4.5 years). He thought the Resmed machines were better for a variety of reasons. What do our ASV users have to say on which replacement machine to buy, Phillips or Re...

Re: Is my AutoSV machine still available?

Well that is wonderful information. I'll do more research. I wonder what our other asv users think? Hmm perhaps a comparison post.

Thanks Palerider. I am glad you are still around and helping people!

Is my AutoSV machine still available?

I am an pproximately 5 year user of Phillips Respironics BiPap AutoSV Advanced System One machine and doing fine. But the machine is starting to age and the main knob just broke but was repairable. I would anticipate needing a replacement sometime in the future BUT I can't find the machine on cpap.c...

System one ASV lifespan?

I have about 7,000 hours on mine. How long do these machines usually last? When does one usually get a replacement to prevent unexpected failure?

Thanks as always!

Humdifier water tank life span advice?

Hi there. I am three years in on using my ASV and still using the original water tank. I always clean it every morning with dish washing soap swirled around inside and rinsed. I just put it through the dishwasher for the first time and it is looking slightly worn with some staining on the side walls...

Sleepyhead - should I upgrade from 9.8 to 1.0 beta 2?

Hi yall, Haven't posted in a long while since my ASV and mouthmask and I have settled down to an average 1.0 level per night. Finally. 2.5 years into CPAP. But I have noticed that there is a newer version of Sleepyhead for Windows listed as version 1.0 beta 2. Would it be good to upgrade or is there...
