Re: SmartStart Feature autostop not working

I took the mask off and put it back on and it was still blowing too hard It only "blows hard" when the mask is off, because the poor thing is trying to pressurize your entire room, instead of the small space between the mask and your face. As soon as you put the mask on, it *immediately* goes back ...

They also do want one where the permanently attached cord is frayed, or that is not in proper working condition.

Re: Resmed on full pressure always?

You can't go by what it feels like, especially if you're new to CPAP. Read the pinned topics, Download OSCAR, Post some charts, You'll probably find that the pressure wasn't near full. See post above. Quit panicking. Post charts. Get informed help. :) JPB   why are you telling dogslobber ...

Re: Newbie - Oscar uploads

Hi Zonker, I have watched a lot of YouTube videos as that is the only way I could ever have figured no out my machine. It was a serious undertaking. It wasn’t until I pulled the SD card out and put it back in that I could even pull up the preheat on the humidifier and other features. Weird. Yes, I ...

Re: Newbie - Oscar uploads

Palerider, Thank you for your reply but my mask blows off at 9.5. It leaks in several places. I have a little nose and a big mouth. I have to start it low or I feel overwhelmed. I have already adjusted the exhale or whatever that is called. That was causing me some distress before I figured that ou...

Re: Frankenstein Mask...

I am very happy to report that I've been using the FrankenMask since I posted here and it had solved ALL of my fit issues. I liked the P10, but I would dislodge it frequently and wake up. I liked the Brevida mask very much because its squishy seal stays put better for me, but the F&P headgear is aw...

Two dominant stories: Kawhi Some sports media are reporting a leak that he's agreed to stay on a two year contract. I'm cautiously optimistic. Hockey Yeah it's July, but it's what we do Blue Jays Nobody's talking about them. Absolute crap WHAT? Where's the curling? I likes me some curling. figure s...

Re: Need Help with Better Sleep and Pressure Sets

Last night's report is below. Much better I think. I had to reduce the pressure back to 10.5, just to see if the cluster of OAs I was getting at 11 would go away and it seemed to be better , at least according to the chart. leave it as it is set now for 3 nights. then post the charts for those 3 ni...

Re: Waking up with heart racing, low O2, without any OA/CA events

Actually it was only a coincidence that I stopped using it about the exact same time. I didn't stop in hopes of it being one of the causes. There are plenty of possible issues using aluminum based deodorants, but I eat too much crappy food for that to be a real concern. oh. i'm disappointed. ...

I am, but I'm guessing had I been from somewhere else, I'd enjoy it there too. Unless of course it was Flagstaff (AZ).

Re: CPAP newbie, question about pressure increase

Thanks, and yes I will post some results as soon as I read/learn about how to do so effectively, and figure out what a "normal" night is for me since I'm all over the map. I should also have said that I definitely have very mixed apneas. Sometimes OSA's are much higher, sometimes CSA's are much hig...

I stopped using Lisinopril (ACE Inhibitor), drinking alcohol so close to bed time and stopped using antiperspirant deodorant all about the same time. and you have ME curious. what did you read or hear about antiperspirant deodorant that caused you to stop using it? legit question, not snark. (yeah,...
