Re: oxygen desaturation levels.

70 percent is very serious. your blood is loosing oxygen. have your doctor check your Hemoglobin and Hematocrit with a blood test. The OP's O2 dropped to 70% on the diagnostic sleep test. OP does not have any hard evidence of significant O2 desats while using her APAP, particularly since the OP has...

Re: oxygen desaturation levels.

70 percent is not serious. what's serious to you. my blood tests didn't tell me to calm down. they were trying to tell me something.

Re: oxygen desaturation levels.

Hello, I am new so please forgive me if I failed to find the answer to my question elsewhere in this forum. My question pertains to Oxygen levels. I had a sleep study, and I was diagnosed with an RDI of 17. Which for some reason didn’t seem really bad, but what really got my attention was when I wa...

Re: Oxygen Level Dropping During REM to low 80's

I was able to start tracking my Oxygen levels using a new Samsung watch and it's showing my Oxygen level is dropping to 82%-84% typically twice a night during longer stages of REM. I'm scheduling an appointment with Dr and have adjusted pressure levels higher and narrower on my Cpap, but wondering ...

Re: Going to the Potty at Nighttime

For those of you that end up going to the bathroom several times a night, what is your unhooking procedure? Do you remove your mask from your face/head? Do you just unhook the hose from your mask and darth Vader it to the toilet? how many times do you have to get up to go to the bathroom. if you ar...

Re: Do I still need a CPAP when my avg. AHI < 2.5?

your Cpap is part of your life now. A lot of people make a big deal about cpap usage in the woods. its easy if you know how to do it. look at it this way. be glad you don't need oxygen too. I need cpap and 2L of 02 for sleeping only. when it comes to camping in the woods for a month or more. I'm an ...

You can use any concentrator with any machine.
This is completely false .

Some oxygen concentrators only delivery 'pulsed' oxygen, when you inhale, and those *WILL NOT WORK* with a *PAP machine.

A lot of concentrators come with pulse and continuous flow oxygen. the one I use does pulse and continuous. cpap user need continuous flow.

Re: Oxygen

You can use any concentrator with any machine. you need the adapter that connect to your cpap. home concentrators are noisy and heavy. if you go with insurance company. this is what you get. tanks or home concentrator. I'm on 2L. just for cpap only. I don't need it 24/7. I'm on medicare. what I did....

Re: AIRSENSE 11 battery ?? 12 V cord?

what works for me is the portable outlet battery. no fancy cables to buy, just plug in to power pack. I get 8 hours use with 50 percent battery discharge. best option right now. if you want the DC converter. I don't think we will see one soon. I called the company 7 times already same reply. get the...

Re: Gas Stoves and Apnea

i'm privileged in that while our house is all electric, we have a whole house generator which comes on by itself if it notes a 20 second loss of power in the house. yea, this generator runs on propane. but that tank is outside thirty feet from the house. so nothing that could be considered potentia...

these people that make up this BS are brain dead. anybody told me gas is dangerous to the environment and bad for my health get two middle fingers from me. Well, I certainly don't expect that any kind of science is going to sway your opinion that's firmly cemented by the lies that the gas company m...
