Re: Airsense 10 - noise from air intake
I got the noise of the rubber gasket is not sealing right on my S10 when I install the water tub. I Let the water tub a little loose. Turn on the machine the push to close the water tub. I would try this way. The noise from the video sound like the bearing of the motor. But just try to seal the wate...

Re: Taping mask on your face
For those of you who have to tape the mask on your face, what kind of tape do you use? I have been using CPAP for over 5 years and I still have the problem of taking the mask off every night. Either I'm taking it off or it's coming off when I move around. My sleep doctor's office is always changing...

Re: My personal experience with Inspire for Sleep Apneas
I am writing this in order to prevent you from going to the same experience I went to. Probably, for some people Inspire is a solution, despite all the pains that the surgery incites, but it would be nice to have more information before you decide this is a good solution for you. I would like to st...

Re: giving a used CPAP to someone with a different clinic?
several I was issued an airsense 10 autoset by my sleep clinic. it was malfunctioning, and they issued me a new one but wouldn't take the old one. they told me to keep it or find a place to recycle it. I kept it And opened it up and found the faulty lead and soldered it And it's working again. Some...

Re: Any use for old machine?
If at all possible I always encourage people to not toss a still working old cpap machine in the trash because we never know when someone might come here and be in critical need for ANY machine...no matter the age or the model or the hours on it. A lot of those places that do dispense machines to p...

I agree now. An external power source to run cpap machine. My recommend to use starter battery is stupid.
I wishes you all well.
Jake00, happy camping.

Re: What off the shelf portable power source for air sense 10?
I am sorry If you think my recommend is bad. So you should not use the car starter battery for running CPAP machine when going camping out door. I just want to share my thought. Have a nice day to all.

Re: What off the shelf portable power source for air sense 10?
Yeah, limited budget is difficult. I would go with a car battery. Or even just use it from the battery in the vehicle he drives to the camp. Just start the vehicle every day to charge the battery . He does not need to buy extra battery just for going camping once awhile. The advice to just start th...

Re: What off the shelf portable power source for air sense 10?
Awhile ago I was trying to configure some Milwaukee batteries to run my cpap. While I still want to make that work, I’m looking for an off the shelf solution 3-5 nights would be ideal. I would get a 50Ah LiFePO4 Battery Deep cycle lithium iron battery and a 12volt DC-DC converter for your CPAP mach...

Re: Newbie would like to hear success stories, please.
Hello every one. I have been reading this forum for a while, but now I register to post something about using CPAP machine. Back to 2007 or so, I went to a dentist and I was snoring so loud while she worked on my tooth filling. She told me I got sleep apnea. I did not know what was it. I did not eve...

Re: Fuse Size for Battery Backup
I think the CPAP machine can load up 90w, or the 12v DC converter out put up 90W. So the 12V battery at full charged is 12.6V, with 90W it would draw less than 10A. (W=V x A). you can get 15A fast burn also ok. I bought KFD DC car charger travel adapter, it rate 12A input. So I used 15A regular fuse...
