Re: ResMed F30 headgear FIX, YAY!
So I saw this old post about someone trying a Philips Amara View headgear but on their ResMed F30 and I decided to try it out and it’s been great so far! What’s really crazy is my AHI numbers dropped from 3-8 every night to under 1 now. I’m seeing 0.8 and 0.3 now! It’s way more comfortable than the ...

Re: 15 days with ResMed AutoSense CPAP: Seeking Advice on Mouthbreathing
Felt like I was sleeping with a military gas mask on and didn’t like that claustrophobic sensation My first few nights were terrible with F20. Now, though, I have got used to it. At the time, when I began the rental, Res Med India did not have F30. Now, they do have AirFit™ F30 Sys-APAC. Is that th...

Re: 15 days with ResMed AutoSense CPAP: Seeking Advice on Mouthbreathing
I mouth breathe and tried the F20 mask for a couple days and hated it which was surprising since it seems to always get rave reviews. Felt like I was sleeping with a military gas mask on and didn’t like that claustrophobic sensation, tried the F30 and really loved it. I’d recommend you try that too;...

Try Hart Medical
I purchased a refurb ResMed AirSense 10 AutoSet from them 2 weeks ago as a backup unit for $349
It arrived and looked practically brand new and only had like 243 run hours.

If you’re having so many issues with nasal irritation, why not try out a full face mask that goes over your nose like a ResMed F20??

Jlfinkels wrote: make sure on the “My Options”->”About” screen the cellular network type is 4G. Re: Can I change what cell provider is managing my data?
My ResMedAirSense 10 says it uses CDMA cell technology. To the best of my (layman's) understanding, this means that the signal can only be passed by cell providers who use CDMA technology. AFAIK, Verizon and T-Mobile use CDMA but AT&T does not. Hopefully someone that knows more about cell technolog...

Re: ResMed F30 headgear FIX, YAY!
I decided to try this too for my F30 and ordered a Philips Amara View headgear from Amazon and I’ll be dammed, it IS more comfortable! The Philips material seems softer and more stretchy and just more premium than the ResMed material. The bottom straps on my ResMed headgear seemed to cut into my nec...

Re: Airsense 10 humidifier tank
I have not cleaned mine yet, and it looks as good as the day I opened it from the package. that sentence alone doesn't say much. "the day that you opened it" is when? A few months ago but that shouldn’t matter, it will be the same in a year or two if it’s emptied and dried out each day with only di...

Re: Airsense 10 humidifier tank
I have not cleaned mine yet, and it looks as good as the day I opened it from the package. I fill only with distilled water and empty it each morning and allow to dry upside down on a towel. I think generally there’s a push to overclean all this stuff and I wonder if it’s more CYA than anything. I r...

Re: Resmed Airsense 10 Autoset first impressions vs Philips Dreamstation
I too started off with a Philips Dreamstation issued by my DME to me on February 1 of this year. I grew tired of their poor service and communication and decided to buy my own machine out of pocket and not use a DME any longer and I sent the Philips back to the DME and bought a ResMed AirSense 10 Au...

Re: Sticky: Phillips Respironics recent recall notice discussion thread
I am now starting to think that Philips Resperonics is the new Takata* *The airbag manufacturer that made airbags for Honda and ended up declaring bankruptcy and ceasing to exist after a major recall. The fact that they seem to not really know what they are doing as far as quickly handling this and ...

Re: Mouth breathing with a full face mask
The whole point of a full face mask is so you CAN mouth breathe. I have a deviated septum and one nostril is only maybe 40% open, I really can’t breathe just through my nose most days.
