Re: Does Medicare Require Annual CPAP Dr. Visit?

Newbie recent experience: My dentist was adamant that I have a sleep test. My PCP agreed to do it and did all the paperwork for the request. A week later, I got a sleep test apparatus to use for 2 nights from Blackstone Medical, who created the results report and sent it to my PCP. It was Blackstone...

Re: NozeSeal

Oh wow! I think I’ll look into nasal masks because I like those better that would work like this and see if I could get it to stick OP, let us know how it goes!! I tried out NozeSeal last night. Re: Why do I grit my teeth with CPAP ?

I’ve found that I can’t use a sleep guard with my CPAP. I think I could with a full face mask but I’m too claustrophobic to even try one. I tried nasal mask, get pillows and nasal cushion. Each of them sit exactly where my night guard sits on my upper teeth. I’ve discontinued use of the night guard ...

Re: Sleeping pills

Taking a small dose of ambien (2.5-5 mg) helps me fall asleep and when I wake during the night, I fall back asleep quickly. Laying awake with a CPAP on isn’t a good situation for me. I did not take a sleeping pill for the first seven weeks of therapy. There is no difference in the number of my event...
