New AutoSV user needs help falling asleep and understanding settings
Hi all, I've lurked here on and off since 2018. Thanks to all the amazing contributors to this forum. I got my Phillips Auto SV a couple days ago and I'm having trouble falling asleep because as many have previously stated, if you're not breathing on the machine's schedule, it feels like being blast...

Just wanted to chime in and mention that alcohol is a disruptor to sleep. When I drink, I get an even stuffier nose than normal and worse sleep-wake transitions and generally worse sleep structure than normal. That being said, for me at least missing more REM sleep reduces my CA (clear airway) event...

Hello Pugsy I don't spend very much time awake on the mask, but there is some of course, so the AHI should be slightly lower. Firstly, my apologies if I'm off track here. I'm really struggling and don't know what else to do. I feel cr@p and tired during the day.
