Thank you, I won't! Trust me, it's been a life saver for sure. For me it's definitely a love/hate thing, lol

Re: Nightlase Treatment for OSA
. . . I find that I was getting too much air . . . How did you determine that? Residual air in the lung before inhaling, too much resistance in exhaling. Yes EPR would help, but at the same time, since my airway is more opened than before (comparatively speaking), I wouldn't need as much pressure f...

Re: Nightlase Treatment for OSA
Just for the heck of it, put Nightlase in the search bar above (under cpaptalk.com) and have fun reading previous notes. But if it really does cure your OSA, never mind snoring, let us know! I think that'll be a long shot, but I'm definitely getting some level of benefit. Come to think of it, I may...

Nightlase Treatment for OSA
Fellow OSA sufferers, I received by first nightlase treatment exactly one week ago and I'm getting some good results. During this treatment at the dentist's office, I was laying on the Orthodontic chair with my chin tilted slightly upwards. This is the worst possible position for us with OSA, basica...

Re: C-Flex and EPR User Experiences
I have been using a ResMed AirSense 10 for about three months and have been following my results closely with OSCAR. I've read the forum comments and watched the YouTube channels and have made adjustments carefully to my therapy...with excellent results I might add. I've gone from an initial AHI sc...

Re: I need help on my machine settings
Hi Mac,
I also have a surgically corrected deviated septum and a BiPAP that's about a year old, abandoned. I'll open it back up, any suggestion on the settings?
Thank you,
Marq

I need help on my machine settings
Hi everyone, I sometimes do ok with below settings, but recently I've been struggling. I often gasp before falling asleep, that or wake up gasping, and the machine doesn't kick in enough for higher pressure. At 6 am I finally was able to fall back deep asleep only having to get up in an hour, and I ...

Re: Very frustrated after radiofrequency tongue base reduction surgery
I had two tongue radio frequency procedures done, optimum effect should have started in November, but nothing! Maybe this is why the insurance wouldn't pay for it, all out of pocket expenses :( I will take up other advices here to try to have my Cpap dialed in, otherwise life is rough... Just glad t...

Re: What is the highest EPR in Apap or Bipap machines?
Marquis, if your problem on your back is obstructive apnea, using greater pressure support is unlikely to help you. The reason is that it's your EPAP pressure that will help to keep your airway open. (Thank you, palerider, for drumming this into me.) What happens to your numbers when you sleep on y...

Re: What is the highest EPR in Apap or Bipap machines?
The most highly recommended bilevel machine is the ResMed Air Curve 10 VAUTO. The next most recommended machine is the Philips Respironics Dream Station Bipap auto. Thank you for your suggestions Okie, I actually ended up with a Dreamstation Bipap, but can't get used to the In and ex contrast, need...

Re: What is the highest EPR in Apap or Bipap machines?
Hi Everyone, I'm using a Z1 Auto, recently find that I should benefit better with a higher differential than -3, is there anything out there that allows you to increase this difference in EPR pressure between inhaling and exhaling? Thanks in advance, Marquis Bipap/Bilevel machines Thank you for you...
