If it were me I'd contact the DME and tell them to send the slim tubing you are accustomed to using and what they supplied previously. I know I sleep better with a slimmer tube than the larger one.

My water heater puts out water that's 127 F. I don't believe the dishwasher heats it further, but I'm not sure.

It may have a setting to select if the incoming hot water gets boosted to a higher temp. Our Whirlpool dishwasher can do this.
