Re: DS2 vs Resmed10 wild difference
Thank you dog slobber and pale rider. I tried many auto settings 7-20, 10-16, 12-20, and more. Also tried switching DS2 to fixed pressure in varying pressures . Still didn’t work for me. I will definitely keep using this Elite 10. Haven’t been back to theMD in at least 2 years so need to go back eve...

Re: DS2 vs Resmed10 wild difference
Thank you everyone. I can’t afford to go back to the doctor for a newer resmed because my husband got laid off so I’ll keep using it since it’s working so well. Crazy that whether I did varying fixed cpap pressures or varying auto pressure ranges ds2 just didn’t work for me. The ds1 worked perfect f...

DS2 vs Resmed10 wild difference
1. I’ve been adjusting my own pressure for at least a year now. Things I thought were going well. I saw online someone as well as a sleep tech saying changing your own can lead to central apnea. Should I worry? 2. Since changing to the new dreamstation 2 after the recall I struggled with both APAP w...

Re: Missing teeth and dry mouth
Only if I have a slight relaxation to my tongue does it come out. But I didn’t have this issue before I lost the front tooth and I’ve been using cpap since 2019 with rarely an issue.

Missing teeth and dry mouth
Hi all, I recently had dental issues and had a front tooth removed and I also have one molar missing (will get tooth implants for both within the next year). I have to remove my partial denture while I sleep. I’ve noticed just since my front tooth has been missing I’m getting major dry mouth. Even w...

Re: Phillips / Philips Respironics recent recall notice discussion thread
July 2017 - My DreamStation 1 was placed into service. June 17, 2021 - Registered for the recall. September 9, 2021 - FedEx just delivered a DreamStation 2 from Philips Respironics. "The enclosed DreamStation 2 machine is provided to you as a replacement for your existing DreamStation machine. To i...

Re: Does events/hour = AHI?
I was wondering the same. Luckily my mother in law had her old air sense 10 cpap since she got a new one so I can use until I fix or replace my dreamstation. I’d rather be safe than sorry. I’m a former smoker so anything that could be affecting my lungs I want to discontinue. Anyway I was surprised...

Re: Dreamwear: Nasal cushion, full face headgear?
In case anyone was curious I tightened my head gear a little and upped my min pressure slowly over the last few days from 5 to 7.5 and last night my ahi went back under 2.0. A relief! I want the nasal cushion to work for me. [emoji846]

Re: Dreamwear: Nasal cushion, full face headgear?
Yes, I have the dream station and forgot to change settings. Other than trying to find my correct tightness of my mask all is well. My pressure has actually dropped quite a bit hah.

Re: Dreamwear: Nasal cushion, full face headgear?
Thanks! Yes my mask fit said 100%, my ahi was 0.6. 90% pressure was 6.5 and the average was 5.5 out of an APAP range of 5-20 so I’d say it went great. All in all it went well.

Dreamwear: Nasal cushion, full face headgear?
Hello everyone, I have been using a ff dreamwear mask (small) with a medium or large headgear (can’t remember) since 12/18/19. Recently I saw that nasal cushion were available on amazon for under $15 which is cheaper than my dme with insurance. So I bought one to try! I realized when it came that th...

Dreamwear full face DIY liner
I’ve searched the forum and sorry I didn’t see pictures. Couldn’t find any on google either. Does anyone have a liner for the dreamwear FF mask they can show me pictures of? I want to try to make my own and my first try wasn’t great lol.

Re: New here: mask injury, Oscar, etc
I think our air quality is fairly good because my filter is always clean. We rent so we cannot replace anything. Also my mask was too tight the first few days but after that I’ve made it quite loose and still have a good seal with no leaks. That’s why I am baffled as to why my machine has beeped twi...

Re: New here: mask injury, Oscar, etc
Oh. I asked about my data quite a while ago. My recent post of data regarded me trying to figure out why my machine randomly beeps when no leaks appear to be happening.
