I struggled for 2 weeks trying to get used to cpap therapy and once u find a mask your comfortable with there is a light at the end of the tunnel . don't give up . you will start sleeping and feel so much more rested , so hang in there .

try the airfit f20 . this is a personal observation as its the one I have had with the ( fewest leaks ) . I too have gone thru several masks trying to find the best one for me , so good luck in your mask journey . my bathroom trips have been nil to none in the last 3 months too so keep at it , cpap ...

for everyone finding the right mask is no fun . best mask for me has been the f20 airfit , with a chin strap my wife made to quit riding up past the lower lip . l smoosh my face in the pillow . the Amara view another member recommends is one that started me on the path to success , at least wearing ...

the Amara view got me started in accepting cpap therapy . it was really successful where I was sleeping all night with a mask . pm me as I may have an option for you to help you decide . finding the right mask is the toughest part of the journey .

not disagreeing about no need to replace if working , just passing info dme relayed to me . Im still using the same elbow on mask another member gave to me . its still nice to have spare if something goes wrong .

if your on medicare you can get a mask without headgear and cushion after 3 months and it includes the elbow .

all of my f20 mask leaks were caused by the lower part of the mask riding up to my lower lip or mask moving when I rolled to my side . the strap stabilized the mask on my face and I have not had one leak since I started wearing it . it is a little uncomfortable but the benefits override that .
