Re: What is your biggest CPAP struggle?

Need help! Sleep doc here…I am creating some sleep apnea and CPAP educational material and I want it to be useful. Could you help me by answering any or all of the following questions: -what do you struggle with the most with your CPAP? Mask fit - what do you wish your doctor or DME company would h...

Re: Did you get your flu vaccine?

My mother was also a nurse. I learned quickly that was the one profession you couldn't pay me to go do. Ugh ! I was a 5th grade teacher. My sister is a hospital nurse. She told me teaching was the one profession you couldn't pay her to do.  that is funny. I was a teachers aid at the elem...

Your attempt at humor aside, my mother was a nurse, one learns things while living with medical people.

Re: Can Sleep Apnea effect my Weight Loss?

Some people have less trouble losing weight--or they could be lying. Treating apnea can help, if your apnea is responsible for your weight gain. Sometimes there is no connection. When I first went on pap 3 years ago I lost 60 lbs. It was because I had more energy and was able to go to the gym often...

Most pharmacies will not carry every brand of vaccine.
You take what you can get--unless you order ahead, and ask.
Then it's still going to be whatever they have.
True that, and your lucky to get an appointment to get one the staffing shortages are so bad.

Re: Did you get your flu vaccine?

I was confused on the 65 + shots. This is the info I found. "All flu vaccines in the United States for the 2021-2022 season are quadrivalent vaccines. " https://www.cdc.gov/flu/prevent/quadrivalent.htm And "Fluzone High-Dose Quadrivalent is the only licensed high-dose inactivated influenza (flu) vac...

Took over an hour but we are vaccinated against those nasty flu bugs. One less thing to worry about.

Re: Did you get your flu vaccine?

Tried. Two local pharmacies were not taking walk ins. They don't have enough techs or pharmacists. Have appointment at 6pm tonight hope it actually happens. The pharmacy apps suck. We need to our shots before my last day of work when my insurance probably goes away until I can get the cobra thing fi...

Re: daily tub cleaning?

I have autoimmune issues. When I first started here I followed all the recommendations. 3 years into it I dump the water when it looks yucky and let the tank sit and dry during the day then fill it back up at night. Usually ever couple of weeks otherwise it just gets topped off. I never clean the ho...

Re: Difference between AirFit F20 and "For Her" version

I have the N-20 "for her ". The small cushion is the same. The headgear and the frame seem slightly smaller but it may be because my old stuff was worn and stretched out.

Re: Airfit N20 Nasal Mask Leaks?

I use the n-20 but not with the foam. I find adjusting the top straps helps eye leaks while adjusting the bottom straps helps with the nose leaks. Good luck !

Re: have tried so many masks

I can't answer on the full face mask because I don't wear it but the N-20 if its pushing to hard at the bottom of your nose the bottom straps are too tight. It should not be tight, pull it gently away from your face let it settle back down and seal. I use the N-20 "for her" which gives me a better ...
