Re: Kaiser changes machine settings

I'd put it in airplane mode so Kaiser can't mess with it and change the settings back to what you want them to be.

Re: CPAP recommendation (DS1 alternative)

I have the Air Curve 10 vauto. I much prefer the higher pressure support available. I have tried setting the PS to 3 which is what a regular autopap set to an epr of 3 would mimic and I just can't sleep.

Re: Changed to Air Touch N20 But Too Many Air Leaks

I've been using the Air Fit P10 nasal pillows since I began using a CPAP device almost a year ago (AirSense 10 Response) . It has worked very well for the most part, although at times I have to pull it off for a second or two. Occasionally I will experience irritation just inside my nostrils and ha...

Re: Dreamstation 2 won'r turn on

Sounds like your Auto on feature has got turned off by someone. You should be able to go into the clinical settings menu and turn it back on. Do you know how to do that? But for now....what happens if you just push the on/off button to turn the machine on and off? Nope, auto on and off on the Dream...

Re: Smart watches and sleep apnea ?

That may not have answered your questions, but I am so excited about the results my Apple Watch has helped me achieve, I wanted to express this. Thank you. This was incredibly helpful. I will pass this info to my coworker. I have an apple watch given to me by my kids but its a series 3 and has none...

if I wave my arm around frantically. I know you say you aren't a robot. But, by any chance, do you happen to shout anything like "Warning, danger, Will Robinson!" when you do that? https://youtu.be/zePYlaVVo_M Asking for a friend. My cat's name is Will and the family just purchased an "exciting new...

Re: Smart watches and sleep apnea ?

Thanks for the thoughts. I was asking because of a conversation I had with a co-worker about the patent dispute with apple. I am not planning to go get one. Not at their current price anyway.

Re: LATE INSURANCE PRE-AUTH BY CPAP PROVIDER

I recently discovered that my durable medical equipment provider delayed my CPAP Pre-Auth to the tune of 5 months. This resulted in my paying the full amount for the first 5 months, and extended my rent-to-own period by 5 months, which will increase my out of pocket by about $450 - almost half the ...

Re: My cpap machine smells like the last place it was used

My daughter's house in Vegas has a certain pleasant cleaning product flower type sent. I notice it in my a-pap after I get home. It usually goes away after 1 or 2 nights.

Re: Choosing a mask

I was totally ready to bail on Kaiser because I just don't like their medical offices, their in-house pharmacy, and their in-house labs. So I was all set to go United Healthcare insurance+John Muir Health as the HMO. But then this 'sleep' issue arose, and now I'm deep in the middle of an ongoing 't...

Re: Item 1: weight gain Item 2: eyeglasses

I'm a lifetime reader and read before bed as well. I wear the N-20 nasal mask. Mostly I just sit my glasses on top of the nose piece and tuck the side pieces of the glasses under the headgear to hold my glasses on. I've also gotten really good at putting the mask on and off in the dark so often time...

Re: Morf Nasal Mask - custom fit mask

I was given this mask to try out. It has a lot of cool features I really like. I'm a nasal mask user. Unfortunately it is not working for me. First off molding it to your face is simple. If you mess it up boil it and try again. It only took me two tries to get it to mold to my face correctly. Unfort...

Per the original post "I was removed from usage by a home sleep test"

He isn't required to use cpap anymore but he wants to because he snores on his back is the way I read the post.

Re: Shingles Vaccine and mask sensitivity

If you're not internet savvy and have don't pay attention to medical news then how would you know about this stuff ? Well.... "you are screwed" comes to my mind. You do rescue animals if I remember right...dogs?? So do I. It breaks my heart but the hardest lesson I have ever had to learn was the "y...
