Re: Life of CPAP Machine

That sounds logical. I have a low AHI regardless of the pressure I am on. I titrated at 13, but can't tolerate anything over 11. If I can get enough clear brain cells together, I will try to post some OSCAR charts.

Re: Life of CPAP Machine

Thanks for the information! I just wish I knew why I am SO tired. It is making life difficult. I have 2 cats, so I don't know if that could be an issue. I use a filter and it never looks nasty when I change it. Fortunately, I have a spare, so will try it and see if that makes a difference. If not, m...

Life of CPAP Machine

About a year ago, I started having terrible brain fog and fatigue and I have tried everything to resolve it. I also started clinching my teeth. I feel like a tired 3 year old some days. I have done very little this summer because I am just to tired. My life is great and I am.not mentally stressed ab...

Re: More To Feeling Well Than Low AHI and No Leaks

I don't seem to be able to copy a link from SleepHQ because I already used up my free month. I can see my data for the last 30 days, but that is all. I have an appointment with a sleep specialist on Aug. 9th. I was surprised I could get in that quickly. I looked at his reviews and people stated over...

Re: More To Feeling Well Than Low AHI and No Leaks

I felt even less rested when using EPR. I seem to be very sensitive to any changes, so I find being as consistent as possible helps me sleep better. I know when I tried APAP I didn't do well either. I increased my pressure last night and still having significant FL, but the arousals seems better, so...

Re: More To Feeling Well Than Low AHI and No Leaks

Thanks! They have checked everything...Vitamin D, B12, etc. I am on thyroid medication and trying to optimize it. The doctors say it seems to be more than thyroid. I hVe requested another sleep study to see about my oxygen when sleeping. I am so emotional.

More To Feeling Well Than Low AHI and No Leaks

I would include my OSCAR data, but honestly, I am too tired to figure out how to upload it and I don't think it would matter in this case anyway. Plus, I am on a new computer and don't have a lot of things installed yet. Again, to tired and brain foggy to figure it out at the moment. I even came hom...

Re: EPR Results

I think I am one of those on wish EPR doesn't work. I have tried it several times and the result is I feel worse than ever. I don't have issues breathing against the pressure, so thankfully I don't need it. Mt sleep is very fragile, so I eliminate as many variables as possible. I am glad it works fo...

Re: Quality of Sleep Question

I am having the same issues...no matter the pressure or EPR, I feel like a tired e year old. Then I will have a day where I feel like decent. I just started using the Bleep Eclipse and hoping that is what pulls me out of the miserable state.

Did you get anything figured out?

Re: Persistent fatigue

I am in the same boat. For the most part everything looks good pn paper, but I don't feel that way. I just changed mask and now trying to increase my pressure. Unfortunately, there seems to be more than AHI and leaks rates to consider, but most doctors don't look beyond that. What is your pressure? ...

Re: Flow Limitationd

Thanks Pugsy! I don't have nasal congestion, so I think I will set a static pressure of 11 with an EPR of 1. I think I do well on 10 or 11, but the tummy aches are not pleasant, so why I might need a little EPR. I met with Jason for 3 sessions and I think I may have stumped him. I am just so tired, ...

Flow Limitationd

Will someone give me the "Flow Limitations for Dummies" version on what I will see on my OSCAR chart if my pap therapy is going well? I assume it should be low and as flat as possible. Is that correct? I am desperately trying to dial in on my therapy. I have been 100% compliant since starting in 201...
