When I travel I use 3M Command Hooks & a very lightweight bungee cord. Works good, except I frequently forget the command hook in the hotel room.

APAP...because it works best for me. Yes, I have tried CPAP.

I removed mine a few months ago. Seems to be OK.

New masks are also available on eBay; no prescription required.

It didn't do anything for me; tried for a week then sent it back.

I purchased directly from the SleepRes website; I told them I tried it & it wasn't working. They sent me a prepaid label to return the V-Com & indicated they would refund my CC after recieving.

Just received it a little bit ago. There's hope!

On the rare occasion that I fall asleep in my recliner; my wife says I snore & gasp for air. That doesn't happen when I use my CPAP.

Yes, it will work on your machine. I have used both the Dreamwear & Resmed N30i under the nose cushions. (open pillow as you called them). I prefer the N30i, very comfortable. I also have tried several nasal pillows; Brevida, Dreamwear, P10, & P30i, they all irritate my nostrils.

Doesn't the tapered portion of the pillows go inside the nares?

I use P30i but it took me a long time to get used to. I would alternate between the N30i for a while, then try the P30i for a couple of days, then back to the N30i for a week or so. After a couple months of back & forth, the only mask I can wear now is the P30i. Leaks are better & AHI is much better...
