Re: Resmed Airsense 10 AVS vs Resmed Airsense 11 AVS
The comparison between Air10s and Air11s appears to be consistent along all product lines: They appear to have the same algorithm The Air10s are better built People don't like the Air11 humidifier The Air11 hose doesn't swivel The Air11 is actively upgraded The time can't be changed on the Air11 Sti...

Re: No Inspiration
so being able to program my own Inspire might provide relief. I'm a software engineer, so I am used to programming. This statement really doesn't make sense. It's not something a competent Software Engineer would say. The term "programming" when used in the context of writing executable code, is ve...

Physiological was not an accurate word describing your occasional CA.
Describing your obsession with them as physiological, well..........

Trying to gage CPAP accuracy by creating what you believe to be Centrals, is silly.

I have the ASL machine so why would my AHL not be perfect Why do you think your AHI should be perfect? I have just been told by my sleep doctor that since my AHL is wonderful ( I have the ASL machine so why would my AHL not be perfect) but he will not acknowledge that my flow rate diagrams I got fr...

Re: cpap machine stopped recognising apnea events, and now I wake up with them
Turn your machine off, wait a minute or so, and then back on. What kind of apneas are they. The machine will not respond to centrals or unknown apneas. You can get unknown apneas if you have excessive leaks. You are also making assertions that you simply can't know, without data. And then asking for...

Re: Resmed S9 won't start up with SD card
What your describing is exactly the behavior that an S9 does when a foreign file is written on the SD Card and there is nothing you can do to use that SD Card without reformatting it. Although, all your data will be wiped from the card, it's been imported into OSCAR on your computer so you should be...

Re: Is my APAP overshooting unnecessarily
No.
Your minimum pressure is too low. APAP don't increase pressure, unless there are indicators. In your case FLs and snores.

Re: Resmed AirSense 10 AutoSet - Is automatic setup better than fixed pressure?
A properly configured APAP configuration *IS* superior to CPAP. Jason, LankyLefty27 has done APAP a real disservice by comparing flawed comparisons. He compares APAP to his properly configured CPAP configuration. The thing is: his APAP minimum pressure configuration is always 2cm lower than his CPAP...

Re: People who say they feel like there suffocating at low cpap pressure
I can never understand when people say they feel like they are suffocating if they use a pressure under 7. I mean, the machine even at 5, is blowing a hurricane either up your nose or in your face. It is forcing air in to your mouth and throat as opposed to still air without the machine. Please exp...

Don't know why it didn't go very well, that's the best looking chart you've posted yet.

Re: F20 Hydroplaning off your face at a 15 IP
I don't know where the leaks are coming from and it might not be the seal it might be that I'm breathing through my mouth even though I'm using a chin strap. Chin straps don't stop you from mouth-breathing they stop the jaw from opening. You can breathe with your jaw closed. Mouth-tape to stop mout...
