The picture that DS posted is showing the flow sensor, not the pressure sensor, which is on the other end of the air module, where the humidifier connects.
I should have known, given there were two of them.

Re: Sensors used by CPAP manufacturers

ResMed reports two "pressure" values. Set Pressure and Mask Pressure , the latter of which is measured. resmed_10_pressure.jpg The sensors are shown in the above pic. Because of the Philips recall there are a fair number of defoaming videos, some of which show their sensors. Technically, the Mask Pr...

Re: Fellow Aussies - Philips Dreamstation refund

For my fellow Aussie on here - As we have awesome consumer protection laws down here , I reached out to the store where I purchased my Philips Dreamstation about 18 months ago to see what could be done. Australia does have awesome consumer protection laws. But those consumer protection laws aren't ...

Re: DEEP/REM sleep pattern with cpap

The Beta is not public, and the OSCAR team is requesting the download link not be published.

Currently, the last version is the release candidate. Today is the due date for Release Candidate problem reports. I'm interpreting that as an imminent release, but that is speculation on my part.

The only "dangerous" CPAP devices are the recalled Philips Respironics. Re: Airfit P10 Extremely Noisy

I agree with palerider. The P10 is absolutely silent. I been through 3 maybe 4, P10 masks, and many sets of pillows in various states of "newness". :) And can't recall hearing anything from them. P10's, because of the strap design, kind of have a love hate relationship, but the complaints are not ab...

Re: questions about tubes

The water in the tank felt room temperature after it "warmed up." Can't figure out what the warm up is supposed to be doing. The warmer the water the more water vapour that will be generated. Boiling water (100 C) generates a lot of water vapour (steam). Almost boiling water (95 C) generates a lot ...

Re: questions about tubes

Rainout is when the humid air (from the humidifer) condenses back into water, inside the tube or mask. Think of a cold pitcher of water on a hot, humid day, all the water droplets from on the glass pitcher. The same thing can happen within the CPAP hose, the water builds up, gets noisy and can then ...

Thank you. Hopefully the Oscar version that supports airsense 11 comes out soon.
Consequently the OSCAR v 1.3.0-rc1, the release candidate was announced about an hour ago.

This isn't a public release, but is a good sign that the final public release will be very soon.

Re: What SD card format works in the Resmed Airsense 11?

There isn't a lot of information about the Air 11 yet for a few reasons: It's still very new OSCAR's Air 11 support is still beta Few posts Having said that, I have seen posts about the Air 10 and likely still true with the 11 .Stick with an SD Card 32GB (or less) formatted as FAT. exFat and 64GB ar...

Re: RESMED S10 4G MODEM - WANTED

I know the modems are trivial to remove. If your intent is to buy just the modem and swap it with your existing modem, that may not work.

With a 4G modem there might also be a firmware upgrade.

I think *most* nights he imports SPo2 information (the aqua colored ones), on the few nights that it is darker blue, no SP02 data was present. In another thread he does talk about imprting SP02 using his Wellue ring. I use the Wellue ring to monitor O2 drops. ... Thumper Why do I have a couple of ol...

The OSCAR overview page lists the following color bar meanings: Red - not compliant Grey - no detail data Blue - detail data and compliant There is no mention of aqua. If SP02 data has any influence, it would be on the Aqua colored days. https://www.apneaboard.com/wiki/index.php/OSCAR_Organization_-...

Re: Are CPAP machine hose standard?

The connectors on CPAP machines are a standard size and for the most part, hoses com in standard size, but there are differences one needs to be aware of. Heated Hoses: Headed hose will be specific to your machine and possibly model, they are not compatible Hose Diameter: CPAP hoses all use a 22 mm ...
