Something isnt adding up, the power brick (to the best of my knowledge)is basically just a 110V AC to 12V DC transformer.
Nope.
Yes I realize that now! I made a boo boo! It runs on 24V DC!! Geez!!

Something isnt adding up, the power brick (to the best of my knowledge)is basically just a 110V AC to 12V DC transformer. I will have to verify that when I get off work but why would you even want to feed the transformer/power brick 12V DC battery power to begin with if it takes 110V ac? Seems it w...

Re: OT:::::Airbreak: Airsense S10 firmware hack

Interesting, almost makes me want to but a Airsense 10 just to test it, but I already have 2 Aircurve 10 V-auto's so I see no reason. Another thing I noticed that looked interesting is the Pin-Outs on the programmer looked the same as those on my Rasberry Pi , I wonder if the is a program to covert ...

Well if all else fails why not just use your old cord? I highly doubt the plug on the end would be a different size if both are Airsense 10's.

Re: NEW Resmed Airsense 10 camping trauma due to 125 W instead of 90 W cord

Pardon my dumbness, but I'm and electrician and all a higher wattage cord would indicate to me would be that its made of larger wire and able to carry a heavier load. I don't understand how a higher wattage cord would prevent you from hooking it up to an RV battery, what am I missing? Something aint...

Would have been interesting if you had forgot your CPAP and not your battery operated inflator.

Would have loved to see you MacGyver that into a CPAP device.

Re: Other Uses For CPAP Machines!

Yeah I have a battery operated inflator (takes D batteries) specially made for filling air mattresses and such but didn't bring it with me nor did I realize I would need it, using my cpap machine was just a spur of the moment idea as nothing else was available at the time so I thought I try MacGyver...

I just stuck the hose on top of it, pressed it against the mattress, and sealed it with my hands!

Other Uses For CPAP Machines!

Me and a few buddies went out and rented a two bed fishing cabin earlier in the week which left one of us in the predicament of having to sleep on an air mattress, big ole queen size one at that. We were all taking turns with a bicycle type pump airing it up as no one had any kind of air portable ai...

Re: Month breather mask

Like yourself as much as I was fully convinced that I was a mouth breather (at least when I slept) when I started CPAP therapy I began to experiment with nasal masks after a little while into it and found it easy to adjust my breathing while using a nasal mask. A good nasal rinse seemed to help out ...
