Re: Philips CPAP accessories discontinued?

Thanks all for the advice. It seems that the N30i doesn’t have an equivalent size to the dreamwear medium-wide nasal cushion. Could get expensive trying them all out. Probably not worth supporting Philips anymore anyway, since they’ve proven to have very unethical business practices. I’m surprised t...

Re: Airsense 11 upgrade - Disappointed

Maybe that’s why they still sell the 10.

Re: Inspire advertising is Anti-CPAP advertising!

It’s totally misleading, and appears to be an invasive surgery. They implant it in your body. This company is bad news in my opinion.

Philips CPAP accessories discontinued?

Does anybody know if Philips is planning on continuing their manufacture of CPAP accessories? I use the Dreamwear mask which I like very much, I’m not sure if I should stock up on them if they will soon be no longer available. Who knows, maybe they’ll just sell the patents to someone else.

Prices of supplies sky high!

I haven't bought supplies in about eight months, and they now seem to be around 80% more expensive across the board, everywhere. It's insane. Anybody know a website that has lower prices?

Re: Trying to get supplies from HMO nightmare

I recently spoke to some America based people who work for the DME. Much more helpful, and my order is getting processed. I was apparently dealing with a overseas call center, where the workers didn't know what they were doing (or care). Ill also be receiving my order from cpap.com, so it will be g...

Resmed cpap machine refurbishing?

My Resmed Airsense 10 is 5 years old, and still works fine, but I'm thinking of what I'll do if it conks out, and have a plan in place. They're made so well, that I think it just might have a few years left in it. I really wouldn't want to go to a non-cellular capeable machine, or pay very high pric...

Re: Trying to get supplies from HMO nightmare

Be aware that since Oscar is an HMO, they don't have to do the 13 month capped rental. They can charge you a rental fee for the rest of your life (or theirs). Under that scheme, you may end up paying many times over the retail value of your machine. I never intend to give Crapria my money every mon...

Re: Trying to get supplies from HMO nightmare

I just ordered from cpap.com. At least I'll have fresh supplies. Then if the insurance company's DME ever gets around to filling an order for me, at least I'll have new supplies saved.

Trying to get supplies from HMO nightmare

I have Oscar insurance, and they use Aerocare/Adapthealth, they are the same company now, for DME. My previous DME sent them the information, and they processed my order, and said I'd get it within 7 days. Then they called me saying that they didn't have my compliance info, even though they said the...

Re: Resmed Airsense 10 lifespan?

The durability of the mini cpap is supposedly not as good as the full machine, so I think maybe the blower might not have the same longevity. I might be wrong, not sure.

Re: Resmed Airsense 10 lifespan?

I think it’s worth waiting at least a couple of years of new model, that has material changes, before getting that one, over a highly reviewed older model. I know the Airsense 11 has the same blower/motor that’s in the mini cpap. That doesn’t sit well with me, thinking it might die out sooner. I hav...

Re: Resmed Airsense 10 lifespan?

That’s what I was thinking. Even with 15788 hours, I’d feel better with a new one, and this as a backup. I don’t want to go even one night without a cpap. I think I’ll probably get another Resmed Airsense 10, since I’ve been seeing mixed reviews of the 11.
