Re: Severe nasal congestion/ allergies

I’m not asking for anyone to step into the role of doctor, just wondering if there is something fellow allergy sufferers can recommend to try when nasal congestion and irritation is severe enough that it is difficult to get enough air through a nasal mask. You might try Loratadine. OTC and inexpens...

I am changing to an Advantage plan.
I would be sure to talk to the advocate about that. I know when I moved to a diff county my old advantage would not cover me and sent me a letter saying just that but iirc I was then able to sign back up with medicare.

Re: Resmed Airsense 11 - AC/DC adapter?

Connect a voltmeter to it before turning it on then watch what happens when it turns on or tries to turn on. Else its just a WAG.

Re: Resmed Airsense 11 - AC/DC adapter?

Yeah fully charged battery, maybe a year old. I did notice the light went orange and green depending on if I was exhaling or inhaling, which seemed weird. I have tried my deep cycle battery directly connected to the air mini converter and plugged into a piece I had with my old setup that had the re...

Re: Humidifier rust spots?

I have always used distilled water Read the label on the bottle. Make sure it doesn't say "Minerals Added for flavor" on it. If there's "minerals added" then it's not *distilled water* anymore. https://www.google.com/search?q=distilled+water+with+minerals+added&sxsrf=AOaemvJiGCmTH1je5akLMm45qL0d9gn...

Re: Humidifier rust spots?

IME the bacteria and pink slime come from leaving the chamber open to "air dry" in the room. I never leave mine open for anything. Check the label on the Walmart brand for minerals added esp. if you found it in the baby section.

Re: New CPAP- from China?!?

I have several UPSs, I use them for my TV and cable box oh and the computers. Those are things I use while awake and prevents those momentary power glitches. I understand how a UPS will help it just won't help during an extended outage like a hurricane, snow storm, or power outage due to a drunk dri...

Re: New CPAP- from China?!?

Maybe I can partner that with an uninterruptible power supply, so I have some time to shut down my bipap after the alarm wakes me up. Honestly, when my power has gone off it wakes me right up. Instead of a UPS consider a battery and a DC cord for your cpap. Who wants an alarm to wake you just cuz t...

Re: Vehicle car battery as a CPAP power source?

But why would I need to purchase a Resmed adapter if I am using an AC/DC converter connected to the battery terminals like this one ? My Resmed power adapter/supply is rated at 90 watts. I'm thinking you've not done much research on this project. Because you're going to waste a lot (as much as half...
