Re: Traveling
Ireland. We're thinking of going to Ireland. And then France at some point.

Airing micro CPAP
I keep seeing this "Airing" micro CPAP in my Facebook feed. Is this a total scam?

FFM for side sleepers?
I continue (after 5 years) to struggle with taking the mask off after a few hours. My theory is I do it when I turn on my side. I fall asleep on my back with the mask on. It has been suggested that a full face mask would be better for me. Does anyone else think this is true?

eXcite device
I just saw an ad for the eXcite device that trains your tongue and is used during the day. I wonder if anyone has experience with it? I've been using the CPAP machine for several years now and still have problems with throwing off the mask at night. I wonder if it would be a good alternative. I was ...

Re: NightLase anyone tried it?
I did Google it. I posted on here to get the kind of honesty that appears on this site. When you Google, you get lots of Vendor biased publicity posts.

NightLase anyone tried it?
My regular dentist is now offering NightLase. Has anyone had it with success? Is it expensive? I've been using CPAP for 4 years now but have had problems keeping the mask on all night, so I am interested in alternative treatments. Lately, however, my time with the mask has increased and I attribute ...

Re: CPAP plus dental device?
Does anyone use BOTH CPAP and a dental device? I've never been able to keep the mask on all night. I wear a mouth guard for bruxism and am able to keep that in my mouth all night. My dentist suggested getting a dental appliance to supplement my CPAP therapy. Is anyone else doing this and does it wo...

Re: CPAP plus dental device?
Actually I have the grind guard now and I'm happy with the nasal cushion mask I just can't keep the mask on past 3 to 4 hours (4 is very good for me). I think my dentist was talking about an appliance designed to treat sleep apnea and there is a specialist near me who advertises that she does that -...

Re: Abandoned by Sleep Doctor
. . . I have to use my CPAP at least 4 hours a night. I've never managed to do that consistently. Do you think the doctor's office just abandoned me because their visits aren't going to be covered? You'd think they would at least tell me that. You might be correct. Why do you think they should have...

Re: Abandoned by Sleep Doctor
I recently retired from my job and went on Medicare plus a supplement. My sleep doctor's office stopped contacting me to set up follow up appointments. I called them but they didn't return my call. I notice that for compliance under Medicare I have to use my CPAP at least 4 hours a night. I've neve...

Deviated septum surgery helping tolerate CPAP
Some have said deviated septum surgery helps them tolerate CPAP better. Have others had that experience? Two ENTs told me I need that surgery. I can hardly breathe out of my right side. When I first put the mask on I always lie on my back because if I turn on my side I can't breathe. I ALWAYS take t...
