Re: CPAP Titration - any advice?

Dave, Relax, There is nothing to titration. How many nights will your titration last. I have only seen nasal masks given for titration. Do you know if you sleep with your mouth open? If you do tell them so they do not give you a nasal mask. I do not know if the data will be accurate if air is leakin...

Re: What is the quietest cpap?

Linda, I do not know which mask you are using. I read through a few of the posts to see if I could find it. I may have missed it, if I read it the memory is long gone, sorry. I was looking at masks for myself and just saw this on a CPAP.com video for the AirFit™ F10 For Her Full Face Mask with Headg...

Hi,
The baby is not my own. I googled pics of sleeping babies until I found one that embodied the way that I hope to feel very soon when I wake in the morning. She makes me smile too!

You and me both.

Yet, I thought dreams were making her smile.

Re: Loving my setup

Betam4x,

Congrats.

I am sure you will figure out the minor issues. Right now your body is just gorging on sleep.

For allergie, nothing like breathing air through a filter .

Re: What is the quietest cpap?

Linda, I do not think I mentioned this so I will know. Last night I counted in my head, I can still hear the machine, but my voice is closer to me. I did not get very far. I do this when I am not reading a book. I also put the dark cloth over my eyes. I do not remember waking up during the night. I ...

Re: FFM vs. nasal pillows

You yourself are using a mask that has pillows, do you believe that 1/2 of the pressure goes into your nose and the other 1/2 into your mouth..... I don't think so. I used the same mask as you for over a year and found that I was breathing with my nose more that I was with my mouth, so I switched t...

Re: What is the quietest cpap?

Linda, Just remember you are not alone and I understand where you are at right now. It will get better. I have not been diagnosed with UARS. Last sleep study was 10 years ago. I went from stage 4 sleep to awake. I only had 20 something episodes an hour, SO2 did not go below 90%. I know I kept checki...

Re: FFM vs. nasal pillows

Howdy All, According to CPAP.Com: If you are using an auto Cpap machine is not suggested that you use nasal pillows or prongs with pressures over 15cm. The small diameter of the pillows will sometimes throw the auto-titration off on an automatic Cpap machine. I was surprised at this for the Resmed ...

Re: Resmed S9 or Airsense for her?

Linda,

I posted in your other thread about the AirSense 10 FOR HER.

I think the AIRSENSE 10 For her is still to new to get long term data.

Re: What is the quietest cpap?

Here's the link to the ResMed machine I was talking about. Unfortunately there is no S9 version of this particular model with the special apap mode. https://www.cpap.com/productpage/resmed-airsense-10-autoset-her-humidair.html The regular Autoset in both the S9 and AirSense models have 2 modes of o...

Re: What is the quietest cpap?

Linda, I have not figured out how to deal with the noise I hear in the mask. I do not know if the way the different machines let you breath out changes the noise level or type of noise. Before spending money trying to get the quietest machine, I would suggest you get some one to wear your mask and t...

Re: What is the quietest cpap?
... I tried going back to apap mode with the lowest pressure setting. The sound as reduced a lot but my basis watch still says I have no deep sleep. I only get slightly deeper sleep without the cpap
How does the Basis watch know when you go into deep sleep. It has these...

Re: WISP MASK and welt on nose

Thank you all. I will try all the wonderful suggestions on here, and see if it can work. Again, like most masks, if you loosen it too much, it leaks air, too tight and pressure bruises. And why do they always show the man in the demonstration video on his back instead of his side? I am good on my b...

Re: What is the quietest cpap?

Thanks for all the responses. I have not done a fixed pressure or turned off exhalation relief on the intellipap. I'm not sure what model it is. The one I tried was very used to the point no matter how much I washed it, still has faint smoke smells. Doesn't mean much but my presumption would be if ...
