Re: DME supplier recommendations

I have always found Sleepquest to be responsive and they have an online store. Their insurance contracts are below.

Resmed Power Supply

I recently bought a new Resmed Airsense 10 (card to cloud version). I still have a couple of power supplies from older Airsense 10s. One is from about 2 years ago and one from a couple of years before that. Will both of those older power supplies work with my new CPAP (was hoping to have a backup)?

Re: international trip - US Custom clearance

Then, now I wonder if I need to get any permission from US gov. in advance to bring back CPAP to US. Does anybody know? I went through researching this process when I went to Africa and returned to US a few years ago. I did a lot of research since I was going to be there for a good amount of time a...

Re: CPAP & Power in Canada

“The electric is the same, the telephone jacks are the same, your cell phone will word there (but watch out for roaming charges). You can use a US extension cord and/or surge protector there. Conversely, if you buy anything that plugs in there, you can bring it home and use it in the U.S.” Thanks fo...

CPAP & Power in Canada

Quick questions regarding CPAP and power in Canada vs. U.S. 1. Is power the same in Canada as in the U.S. (120V and 60HZ)? 2. Is it the same electrical outlet or is an adapter needed when traveling there from the U.S.? I know current CPAPs can handle various voltages but I am wondering if I need a d...

Re: Traveling Overseas Question

If you are traveling to a country with unreliable power, you might want to purchase an automatic voltage regulator when you arrive. Most of them are pretty inexpensive and keep voltage spikes from getting to your CPAP.

Re: Flow vs. Pressure

Please have a consultation with an ENT as soon as you can get an appointment. Discuss your nasal issues and that you are a CPAP user. THAT. When trying to resolve a problem (perception of not getting sufficient flow) take the necessary steps to rule out possible causes. Hope you can find a solution...

Re: Flow vs. Pressure

I don’t breathe great through my nose while not using CPAP. I have wondered if this is the main issue. Please have a consultation with an ENT as soon as you can get an appointment. Discuss your nasal issues and that you are a CPAP user. She will perform a nasal airway endoscopy in the office on you...

Re: Flow vs. Pressure

Can someone tell me if it is possible for a Resmed AirSense 10 to have an air flow restriction while still holding the right pressure or would there be a loud noise is the motor or something? ... I really have no idea where to even start. Start by loading your data into oscar, and look at the mask ...

Re: Flow vs. Pressure

Is the filter clean? Do you breathe easily through your nasal passages when not using CPAP? Can you post a daily report from OSCAR or sleepHQ? Thanks so much for following up, ChicagoGranny! It’s a brand new filter. I have actually replaced it twice this month to make sure that’s not the issue. I d...

Re: Flow vs. Pressure

Getting humidity and pressure(s) dialed in can be key. Personally, I need more pressure during allergy season when my sinuses swell. Not sure if that's true for others, though. Thanks so much for following up, Lazarus! Like you, I typically raise my pressure during allergy season. Initially, I trie...
