Re: ResMed AirFit N30i nasal mask now available at cpap.com
From what I see on ResMed’s page, they recommend that women use a small frame and men use the standard. I currently use the Swift FX for Her but I’m tempted to try this. I wasn't crazy about the DreamWear under the nose cushion mask but not because of the frame or anything like that. I just wasn't ...

https://www.cpap.com/productpage/resmed-airfit-n30i-nasal-cpap-mask Supposedly will ship the 22nd. The usual free return insurance included. Be careful....FitPack comes with a choice in frame sizes but I have yet to find out the difference between the two frame options...standard and small. From wh...

Re: Anyone found a nasal pillow mask they like better than P10?
I've been using a F&P Brevida mask for about a month. It replaces my P10 and so far I prefer it. My leak rate is consistently lower, there's less pressure on my nose and the strap is adjustable. I'm a side sleeper and the Brevida seems to shift around less. That's odd, cpap.com doesn't carry seem t...

Re: Airfit P10 - I want to like it but ...
The AirFit P10 is fine with those pressures. I have my minimum pressure set to 13 and I have seen the maximum hit 18 or 19, so the mask can definitely handle it. But you didn't get the same conducted noise with other masks? Were they nasal or full face masks? I've never had that before but then aga...

Re: Airfit P10 - I want to like it but ...
Your pressure is not too high for the P10. Mine is IPAP15 and EPAP11. One thing you might check is, if you washed the pillows sometimes the inner cone becomes inverted and makes noise when you breathe. Just work the inner cone back where it is pointed in the same direction as the outside one. It's ...

Re: Airfit P10 - I want to like it but ...
I'm sitting here in bed, playing with my iPad, plugged into the P10 with my cpap on. I plugged my ears and still hear the whooshing, possibly even louder then when my ears aren't plugged, kind of like what I'm hearing when laying down. Ok. Guess it's conducted noise so I'll just have to get used to ...

Re: Airfit P10 - I want to like it but ...
Like Pugsy, I find the AirFit P10 to be close to silent. I sometimes need to check if the cpap is on or not by putting my fingers against the vent holes. But we are all different with different sensitivities and different abilities to hear sounds in certain frequency ranges. Pugsy's advice is great...

Re: Airfit P10 - I want to like it but ...
Thanks bonjour. I did check that just in case but it was fine. I tried moving to a larger size (I was fitted with xsmall so tried small) but I looked like a piggy face so moved back to xsmall.bonjour wrote:My P10 makes a similar noise when it leaked because it was on upside down.

Re: Airfit P10 - I want to like it but ...
I wonder if you were hearing conducted noise through the hose and mask because the P10 venting system is essentially silent. Try this experiment today while awake...put the P10 on and start the machine and plug your fingers into your ears. If you still hear the inhale/exhale whooshing sound then it...

Airfit P10 - I want to like it but ...
I tried an Airfit P10 for the first time last night. I REALLY want to like it and switch to this but it so noisy! I heard every single breath I took whooshing in and out. Please tell me I did something wrong that I can correct? At 2 am I gave up and out my full face Quattro Air for Her back on and s...

Re: Two new Resmed Masks---coming soon?
Resmed masks in my experience cost too much to maintain. The pillows (silicone) breaks down too fast. I will never purchase another resmed mask. Sorry you feel that way. Last month was the 1 year anniversary for 1 Small P10 nasal pillow. I haven't even been rotating it like I have done with others ...

Re: Anyone with both the Airfit F10 and the Quattro Air?
I like both so far. I used to use the Quattro and loved it (as much as one can love a cpap mask). I tried the FX when it came out and I couldn't get the leaks under control. When the Air came out, I tried and loved that one so I deserted my Quattro. On Sunday I just received my new AirFit F10 and ha...

Re: Airfit F10 Review
Is this graph from Sleep Mapper? Jen Nope, SleepyHead. Sleep Mapper doesn't have a leak chart but it keeps track of "mask fit" with units of "percent"... so I guess 100% mask fit means no leaks over some pre-set and hidden threshold. Ah, SleepyHead, then definitely Pugsy is the expert to consult. Y...
