Like Pugsy, I find the AirFit P10 to be close to silent. I sometimes need to check if the cpap is on or not by putting my fingers against the vent holes. But we are all different with different sensitivities and different abilities to hear sounds in certain frequency ranges. Pugsy's advice is great...
