Re: Pain in nostril

Hi y'all, I just started my therapy a few days ago. I currently use a Resmed AirSense 11 and Rio II nasal pillows. may I suggest using lanolin on the nasal pillows? it has a slight stickiness to it that will help the mask adhere. look for it in the infant aisle. it's primary use is for nursing moth...

I really hope I can fix it bc, as you know, waking up like a balloon about to burst is not fun.
yeah it's my second favorite thing to do.

(the first favorite thing is to hurl a bowling ball into the air and catch it with my teeth.)

Re: Week 2. Still tired

I'm using the Resmed 10 with a nasal pillow mask. I've adjusted to the mask pretty quickly but I'm just tired. I want to nap but I'm fighting it. I don't have access to Oscar or Myair because the Cpap is a trial from the store. Is it normal to be this tired at this point? welcome to the zoo! do you...

Re: Aerophagia waking me up every day

Don't reduce gradually from where your suffeing, start low, and rasise gradually. Your esophageal sphincter is opening and letting air in. Continued irrtation won't do it much good. Zonker point was to go gradually up from where thing are tolerable. OH! I scrolled up and I see I didn't make that cl...

Re: Aerophagia waking me up every day

Thank you so much for taking the time to reply. I am definitely going to try your method tonight. My machine moves in 0.5 increments, so I'll take it down to 9 instead of 9.5 and see what happens. I'll report back in a couple days. Thanks again. pls DO come back. I'm always curious to see if what w...

>> I'd really appreciate assistance telling me what's wrong with my current settings. Thank you in advance! it's those settings that are causing YOU to have that dreaded aerophagia. and of course that's unwanted and interferes with your therapy. not everyone gets aerophagia. it's folk like you and ...

I have picked up on some pointers and are very useful in the right direction.

Many thanks.

Re: Risks of using Cpap

Can the longterm use of Cpap cause abdominal pains and Laryngitis conditions? Which Cpap and mask is effective? What causes coughs whilst using a Cpap? no. have been on CPAP for ten years and no health problems that can be attributed to it's use. masks are highly individual and you may have to try ...
