Re: how to adjust pressure on fisher & paykel sleepstyle 20

Because of the PHILIPS Dreamstation recall I am forced to go back and use my old Fisher Paykel Sleep Series 600. But when I breathe out, the relief pressure seems to be rather high compared to the Dreamstation which has no resistance at all! Is there any way this can be adjusted on this machine? lm...

You might want to ask Palerider, who lives there.
or perhaps palerider will see the thread topic and pop in to answer!

(he's tricky like that.)

Re: New Resmed Airsense 10 making wheezing noise on inhaling

I can’t stand the noise, and I’ve checked the seal on the humidifier. I use a climate control hose, so can’t change the hose size. I thought buy from another company. Philips DreamStation was recalled because of the foam in the machine. Does anyone have any suggestions for a QUIET, nonwheezy machin...

Re: Inventory issues?

if you are going the "out of pocket" route, you may want to send a private message to forum member lsat. he often has used machines for sale. folks who have dealt with lsat have nothing but good things to say about him. or if that's not the route you want to take, try second wind cpap here- https://...

Good point!
For years, her uneven heartbeat was pooh-poohed by her doc.
Then she moved to Billings--new doc--pacemaker--ta-dah!
all it takes is that one doc who will actually listen.

Thanks to everyone.
This is the second time that cancer has entered my life--
both times caught in early stages.
It seems I inherited a bit of my mother's hypochondria--it has served me well.
well, it's not really hypochondria if it's true!

Sorry, it didn't work for you. :(
and this pretty much illustrates why we tell folks that it's hard to find a mask. what works for one may not work for all.

Re: What is your biggest CPAP struggle?

-what do you struggle with the most with your CPAP? i concur that masks are very hard to figure out because of the differences in facial structure. you might also be aware that there is more to masks than just a full face mask. for me, a nasal pillow mask (resmed P10) is the way to go. - what do yo...
