Re: Help: I can’t wait until May 16th for my sleep study

I wish I were pushier. Maybe I’ll sign up my daughter-in-law to be my advocate. Reading this I had to chime in, "pushy" is not how I would describe it. IMO "Assertive" is the word for it. Asserting your valid concern and need for some further investigation of the problem. "pushy" has a negative con...

Re: Help: I can’t wait until May 16th for my sleep study

Thanks for the suggestion. I did mention that to my doctor, and he said that they need a very specific kind of sleep test, although he didn’t go into detail as to what kind it was. ... Aside from the mystery test type mentioned by your doctor, is there some chance this "procedure" is itself trigger...

Re: My current cpap (Medicare) supplier) is ignoring me

... 'We recently changed over our system and some accounts may have been lost.' What about all my recent messages? 'I don't know.' ... Not confidence inspiring by any means. Best suggestion I can think of is to line up an alternate while you wait for you order to process. That way it's not a mad sc...

Re: CPAP Class Action Lawsuit Settlement

From memory, the only "must" for a system one I recall is that you must return it to get the return payment, ostensibly to make sure it is disposed of properly (sure). If not mistaken there was also some language in the class action lawsuit, or the abstract/interpretive statement somewhere, indicati...

Re: NYT Paywall - 5 Signs of Dementia That Aren't Memory

It looks like three are, 1. Running red lights 2. Falling prey to scams 3. Withdrawing from friends. Anyone have the full list? I suspect, 5. Too tight to pay for subscription. Weird I am seeing no paywall when i just search out this article and open it up ... 1. Financial Problems 2. Sleep Issues ...

Re: Airmini and USB-C battery

I am new to the group. Thanks for adding me. I am going to be traveling and I would like to buy a couple of battery packs. The Medistrom ones are much more expensive than other battery packs of a similar capacity. It also must be under 100 watt hours to be airline approved. Does anyone have any exp...

Re: O2 Ring History to PC

I'm on an iphone where all my data is stored. I'm trying to get all the data from my history in the app to my PC with the O2 insight pro program. Right now only the last 4 from the ring are going onto my PC. I haven't bothered with saving history with this thing or trying to incorporate into Oscar ...

Re: DIY Battery box question

... and my battery box was built with a "cigarette" style plug that I can plug into. I've not noticed any serious/noticeable degradation from the 12/24v converter. I think it's pretty minimal, way less than an inverter for sure. What I have noticed is alot of variation in the female cigarette style...

Re: N95 filter for Remed Airsense 10

If anyone is able to accurately measure the height and width of the oval I can make an adapter. I don't have one to measure but it seems like you should be able to make one slightly cone shaped, or graduated diameters, so there would be one adapter to rule them all? Just a thought, still need a mea...

Re: After 13 years switching DME - Any suggestion?

I live in Florida, have Medicare with an Advantage Plan, does anyone have any suggestion for a replacement DME? After you find out who is in your insurance network, you might want to ask your doctor's staff who is good. They tend to find out who the good ones are, if there are any good ones. ☹️ Or ...

Re: Precise Meaning of MIN and MED

There is something important about the MED related to CPAP therapy, isn't there? I just can't remember what it is. Why the snark? Just answer the question. Med is short for Median. Half of the values will be below the median and half above. It is a much better measure of central tendency than avera...

I can't help but wonder if this means there's an Airsense 12 hovering just below the horizon, with yet another new power connector and all that goes with it.
