Re: OT- What sounds good to eat for Christmas Day lunch?
For morning, My wife makes an egg dish that has eggs, hash browns, cheese, and sausage. Typically 2-3 batches of them which are prepared the night before and just popped into the oven. A variety of juices, mini muffins and a waffle maker for those who would prefer that. Easy, fast, not a lot out pre...

Re: OT: Getting tapatalk view on first refresh of forum?
I use both Tapatalk while on my phone and the forum in fullscreen mode on my notebook or desktop. I used chrome as my primary browser for the desktop/notebook and have FF and Edge but really only use that for validating website designs. Never seen an issue like being reported. It is possible that yo...

Re: OT: Anyone have Google Pixel Phone?
Love the Pixel 2. Upgraded to the Google Pixel 2 (not XL) in October. Gave my fairly new Pixel 1 to my son. I think the phone is great. Basically flawless and gets a lot of use for business and personal data access and storage. It is also my medical device as it has all my medical info/contacts/jour...

Re: Anesthesiologist detect apnea?
Years ago when going through an Angiogram/Angioplasty which took some time, the person monitoring my vitals kept telling me to wake up. Other than some mild vicodin or something like that I was away for the procedure so they can get me to do things like hold my breath etc.. but I kept dozing off. Fi...

Re: CPAP STILL CAUSING ASTHMA
Interesting. Whenever I have breathing issues, allergies, cold etc I always turn TO my CPAP for relief. It makes it easier to breath, gets my breathing under control quickly and feel a lot better.

Re: Calling all front sleepers!
...how does one front sleep successfully with 4-6" of plastic hanging off the front of their face and a hose that's always getting in the way? For 11 years I have successfully slept on my stomach. I sleep flat on my stomach with a buckwheat husk pillow and my head is turned either left (most often)...

Drastic change in sleep patterns - Trazodone
Long story shortened... If you can imagine that. BTW, I am certainly not promoting this. What works for one person may not work for others. And there are a list of possible side effects that I have not exhibited, that could be serious . Had a long stretch of bad sleep (couldn't sleep in bed, had to ...

Re: Has Imgur changed how to post images?
A good reason to save them off on your computer and a second removeble drive, and us really picky use a third removable device. I'd wish I had started that 12 years ago, lost a lot files I wish I still had. Jim ALL images I upload to Imgur are saved files first. I always have the original. Not sure...

Re: when a Nebulizer is needed ?
A brand new machine is $40 or less. You don't need a RX for the machine now days. Just for the albuterol or what ever solution you need.deerslayer wrote:This was my first ever treatment in Dr office
Do not own one
I would imagine that someone with COPD would be helped with one.
But your doctor would know.

Re: new machine coming sleep lab said only they make adjustments
Also, since I am staring out on a monthly rental. A few questions I have regarding procuring the rental mask 1) Are they going to give me someone's used one? 2) If I can ask for a new one. How do I verify it's new. I would think it's in a sealed bag, but the lab says 'they' have to adjust any setti...

Re: The results are in - Finally
They did not give me a hardcopy. I wanted to ask them for it but completely forgot once I was there. Brain fart. It is very easy to forget what you were going to ask when you see a doctor etc.. It is wise to always to create a question list and take it with you. Not only do you not forget the quest...
