Re: OSCAR DOES NOT RECOGNIZE SD DATA CARD
Thank you for the suggestions. My Win 11 PC does not have a SD card slot. The SD to USB device I use has been working for months. I uninstalled OSCAR and tried to install the latest version. McAffee virus claimed the download was safe but Windows Defender warned against installation. OSCAR 1.5.3 - W...

OSCAR DOES NOT RECOGNIZE SD DATA CARD
OSCAR loaded normally. Nothing happened when I loaded the SD Card into my computer. I checked the SD card and found no errors. All my data seemed to be intact. The problem first occurred on 11/24/24.
Has anyone had a recent problem with Oscar?

OSCAR - Clock Drift adjustment
I made an adjustment in OSCAR and clicked "OK." However, when I opened OSCAR, the expected change was not implemented. Is there a solution?

"AUTO OFF" Dreamstation and Dreamstation 2
I returned 2 Cpap machines to Phillips due to the recall. Both original devices had the preheat feature and "AUTO OFF". Has anyone found a method that they can share with me on how to activate these features on my replacement Phillips Respironics machines? If I manually turn off my CPAP, the 15 minu...

Re: Sleepyhead with Dreamstation2
I just installed OSCAR and it worked beautifully with my DS2 recall replacement. It displayed my old DS1 information followed by the latest DS2 info. OSCAR showed all of my settings. I had auto on set but not auto off. OSCAR works with the auto advanced device. I read that it will not work with non-...

Sleepyhead with Dreamstation2
Is anyone using Sleepyhead with Dreamstation2? I am using Sleepyhead v 1.0.0 beta-2. Notes: The DS2 writes to my SD card, but Sleepyhead does not recognize it. I would have to delete Sleepyhead to upgrade to the latest version. I am afraid my history will be deleted as well. I am considering formatt...

Re: SleepyHead display of Ramp and Humidity data - DreamStation
Thank you for the response. After some experimenting, I realized that I was not using the ramp feature for the last 4 years because I used the autostart feature. It would be nice if SleepyHead could track my humidity settings as it did in older versions. Consider this issue solved.

Dream Station Ramp Settings with Auto Start
On the Dream Station device, there is a button to initiate the ramp pressure. Is there a way to have the machine
start with the desired pressure in the Auto Start mode? If so, how?

SleepyHead display of Ramp and Humidity data - DreamStation
The ramp time and pressure settings, as well as the humidity settings, were displayed in SleepyHead on my Respironics System 1 machine. Can these values be displayed for a DreamStation machine in SleepyHead v1.0.0 beta 2? I don't see any SleepyHead settings I can change to display these items.

Re: elect. goes out so does CPAP
My CPAP machine runs on direct current. A transformer converts the 120 VAC to 12 VDC. If your machine is also DC and you always wake up you could hook up DC batteries of the proper voltage to your CPAP. Check with your CPAP vendor to see if they have an adapter for outdoor camping. Also check with y...

CPAP PRESSURE
My sleep doctor gave me permission to raise the pressure from 10 cm to 11 cm after I showed him my SleepyHead chart of AHI readings steadily increasing. The increase began before I started taking pain medication for sciatica. That increase accelerated after taking the pain medicine. After I weened o...

SleepyHead 9.8-1
I successfully installed this version into Windows 10. When I used to select a small portion of any graph I could return to the whole graph by clicking on "100%" at the bottom. What is the best method to select the whole graph in the new version?

Re: CPAP is great for sinusitis and asthma?
During winter when the air is drier I have had nose bleeds from using Flownase or Nasonex. My CPAP with humidifier has allowed me to breath better at night. Also I need less medicine to reduce congestion which really was only a problem at nighttime. After being on CPAP for a few months I started tak...

Dry Mouth with Nuance Pro gel pillows mask
I have been using a full face mask for about 9 months. I read that the pillows mask may work better for active sleepers, however, my mouth dries out to the extent that my cheek sticks to my teeth. I have a chin strap on order but I don't think that will solve the problem since I observed air whistli...

Tubing Size for Nuance Pro gel pillows mask
Philips Respironics RemStar Pro with C-Flex+ (460P) I am using a 12 ft. 22mm hose. However, the pillows mask I'm now trying has an attached short 15mm hose. What is the correct tubing setting for my CPAP? My respiratory therapist said 22? Also, I would like the source of the information. I could not...
