Re: Sleep position

I have heard that sleeping on your left side is better overall for your health. It is recommended especially if you have acid-reflux issues and better for your heart and other organs. Sleeping on your left side puts less pressure on your heart and other organs. Been using Resmed 10 Autosense for abo...

Re: Resmed AirCurve Vauto - ventilator or not

The Resmed Aircurve VAUTO is not considered a ventilator. Resmed does make the ASTRAL unit, which is considered a Ventilator. The Astral unit does have a internal battery as well. The S10 VPAP ST-A is considered a non-invasive ventilator, due to it having the ability to add a backup rate. Lastly, Re...

Re: Throat issue that won't go away

There are also some newer FULL FACE mask options available.

You may want to look at the Airfit F10 FFM, the Quattro AIR or the SImplus FFM.

The Airfit F10 is a good option to the Quattro FX and seems to work alot better too.

Re: New Machine

I also use the S9 AUTOSET unit and I really like it. I also use the H5i heated humidifier with the Climate Control circuit and it works out really well for me. I have tried the Airfit P10 and I do like it, but I tend to get mouth dryness, so I switched to the Airfit F10 Full face mask, but I have bo...

Re: S9 VPAP Adapt SV 36007 FOR SALE - Used

In reality your mother should keep this machine as a backup machine, just because she got a new machine doesn't mean it can't go bad. If it did she'd be without a machine. Well my mother did get a new machine a couple of months ago, per the advise of her Sleep doctor because it has the latest updat...

Re: Sleep Doc Wants Me to Bring Machine?

Mine told me to bring it in case they need to adjust the settings. No sense sending the patient to the dme if they can do it right there. And they assume most people don't know how or care. This is fairly common nowadays for the Sleep Center wanting patients to bring in their Machines especially wi...
