Re: F30 cheek leaks

I was just in my DME for help with this. He tightened the ones on the upper cheek, that has helped some. He said others have found using a chin strap around your head across the mask presses it better to your face. I only use this mask when I'm congested so haven't tried this but am keeping that ide...

Re: Altitude and humidity

Even though I am a Colorado native I now live at sea level. My brother lives in Breckenridge at 10,000 ft and we do fine if we stay in Denver/Boulder area first and give our blood time to get used to the altitude. Drink plenty of water. Our Cpap machines do fine and you will definitely need the humi...

Re: How do you use your Neilmed?

She was using tap water. Tap water in Seattle is treated. An internet search shows many other instances of these amoeba in tap water. Two different healthcare providers have also emphasized to me that only distilled water should be put up into sinus cavities.

Re: Dreamwear Full Face Mask vs Amara View

Neither the Amara nor the dreamwear worked for me. My main mask is a nasal one, the N20, but when I need a full one the F30 has very little leakage.

Re: What's your favorite over the nose nasal mask?

I used the Eson2 for years. What I liked about it was absolutely no pressure on my nostrils. Breathing through it was really easy. I wanted to try something smaller, so now using the N20. I like it, too, but I did pull the old Eson out of the closet for a night recently and realized I still like it,...

Re: Nasal congestion at night

I used Flonase (or the Costco equivalent) for quite a long time and then decided I didn't want the steroid. Read about something called NasalCrom in The people's pharmacy and it has been great!

TheBrickMatt, what was the Costco "cool fiber" pillow you mentioned? I looked on their website and couldn't find anything with those words.

Re: Nasal Pillow air leaks

The pillows leaked for me right in the office, tried two different kinds. The Elon nasal works for me, too. Such gentle intake of air and no leaks (or such low ones that they don't bother me).
