Re: Quick Pressure Question
Just because you HAVE an auto-adjusting CPAP machine, doesn't mean you HAVE to set it to a range of pressures. I would suggest setting your machine to a fixed pressure of 14 cm, for a week or so and see what happens, You won't know till you try it........and many times with this therapy, the users h...

Re: Fit Question Airfit F30i
Resmed reports total leak. This includes intentional leak. ResMed machines report unintentional leak only. Vent rate/intentional leak is removed from the calculations before reporting leak numbers so all leak numbers shown on the machine or reports are unintentional leaks. Now Respironics machines ...

Re: Recommended Supplier Needed
I have been using Verus for many years since I have no local suppliers. They do all the necessary contacts for insurance and prescriptions. Reminders are sent to me for orders. I don't think they offer monitoring nor advice, just sales. Easy by phone or online. I just placed my first order with Ver...

Re: Chinstrap recommendation…
Thanks Zonk! I will order the 4” and return if it is too big (doubtful!). I have been using the REsMed P10 for years until last week. Have not been feeling my best so I connected with Jason (some know him as Lanky Lefty) who after about 2 weeks got me pretty straightened out. My pressure went from 8...

Re: Question regarding hearing different pitches
Update - I used my S9 Autoset last night…no sounds emitting…very quiet.
I will begin trying to possibly get a new machine as the AS10 is about 6+ years old.
Should be fun dealing with Optima - CareCentrix.

Question regarding hearing different pitches
Ok…very longtime lurker here but do not post very often. I have the ResMed AirSense 10 with about 19k hours on it. I have never had a problem with it until VERY recently. I have been working with a sleep technologist for the past 2 weeks. He has changed me to straight CPAP and not APAP. We have been...

Re: Tips for falling asleep
I am a high school choral director...so music is constantly going on in my head...to go to sleep I can’t listen to music...but talk radio does it for me...my spouse is always asking what I am listening to...have no idea...just someone talking so music will cease in my head.

Re: My ResMed AirSense 10 is whistling
My AirSense 10 does this all of the time - IT IS SO ANNOYING!!! My local DME told me to call ResMEd and see about getting it replaced under warranty -- its no longer under warranty so I was told to deal with it. I am thinking the problem lies with the silicon pieces that the humidifier tub locks on ...
