... Does anyone have a back up machine just incase something were to break down unexpectedly or something happened?
I did, until it was recalled. Guess I'll have to work on that.

Re: Cheap battery UPS backup for power outages?

Now for using UPS for short term outages...the kind that you might put on your computer....typically they have annoying alarms and I have no idea what all is involved to get them to supply 24 volts to your cpap. Someone else maybe has experience in that area. Unfortunately the cheaper UPS models ar...

Re: Philips Respironics Recall V2.0 Questions and Answers

It is 24 volt but there is a special converter you can buy and use with a 12 volt battery. https://www.cpap.com/productpage/resmed ... 0-machines Is there a way to plug the ResMed converter into the Medistrom battery he has? Looking at Medistrom's offering, I think the news is not good. They have 2...

Re: Bleep leaks...

I know what you mean, as I prepared for surgery I packed my tap pap, which I haven't used in a long time, and a few bleep adhesives. I dreaded going back to the tap pap that we once my preferred interface, and luckily I was able to apply my bleep adhesive so i didn't have to resort to the tap pap. C...

This is with me using the Eclipse last night. I have kept the Beta unit and I am re-using the metal rings on the adhesive (long story will explain later)....
Is it later yet?

I'm guessing you posted that here thinking this is a support forum for a store. While CPAP.COM does sponsor our forum (very graciously, I might add), it's not where they do support. I suggest you call them directly.

Re: Bleep Eclipse?

OK, Pugsy, PR, here's the question (if you can answer an abstract question like this): If this were available today, how much more per box of adhesive adapters would you be willing to pay for it? I'm assuming (maybe incorrectly) that you are paying out of pocket.... I haven't heard anything about i...

Re: Bleep Eclipse?

Unfortunately for BleepSleep, and fortunately for the rest of us, once you stick something on the internet it's easy to find. https://www.sbir.gov/node/2189709.

Interesting premise! This would be to address the problem some people have with clipping in the nostril 'thingy' (technical term).

Re: Bleep mask and breathe right nose strip

I don't think you'll be happy with it UNDER the Bleep adhesive because I think it would leads to leaks. But I think it MIGHT work on top ... however you might have to "up your game" and use a skin prep and/or extra tape if it doesn't hold. Another thought I had was that by having a well sealed nose ...

Re: Sticky: Phillips Respironics recent recall notice discussion thread

All of the talk and action around suing Philips really annoys me. There are insufficient facts to do so. At some point Philips became aware of the problem. They researched further ... this takes time. One person (or many) reporting particles does not mean there's a defect on Philips' end. Especially...

Re: opioids to relieve untreatable osa symptoms

Stay away from the opioids, going on is easy coming off is hell. I was on for 5 years for a spinal cord injury and finally with the help of my pain management Doctor worked my way down and off. I still was sick as hell and have insomnia and it's getting better. I took my last percocet April 26th, s...

Admittedly I'm not a doctor, but the results I see would still have me wanting to be on a CPAP.

Re: OT: Percocet Withdrawl

I'm late to respond to this. First, congrats! I know (first hand) the effort involved! Of the two opiates I had been prescribed, stopping oxycodone (which is the opioid in percocet) was by far the hardest. The other was morphine, but for me that was much easier to cut back. For me the side effects w...

Re: Tap Pap to AirFit to Bleep

1. Takes forever to seat the clips into the ports. No doubt I'd get better at it. But I don't hear the "audible click." This will get easier with time. If they are not clicking you are probably trying to seat them at an angle. It's really hard to straighten them after they've been inserted, so if I...
