Re: My current cpap (Medicare) supplier) is ignoring me
When I'm eligible for new supplies my DME sends an email and then I just follow the link. I order, or not, the items needed, and they get delivered in a couple of days.

Re: ResMed AirFit P10 Nasal Pillow Mask - Swivel Adapter
I use the P10 and there is a swivel adapter on one end of the hose, the other end is attached permanently to the mask/headgear, there's no way to attach another adapter, nor is one needed in my opinion as there would be no benefit.

Do you plan on not participating in the class action lawsuit and bringing your own lawsuit against PR?

Re: CPAP Class Action Lawsuit Settlement
I received another check yesterday, this one for $230. This was for the return of my System One and includes the Device Payment Award and the Device Return Award.
Gives me a bit of hope that I might get a check for me having to buy a replacement myself, aka Device Replacement Award.

Re: Stopping CPAP...?
Similar thing happened to me. Sleep lab tests showed moderate sleep apnea; I get a machine. 7 years later, it's time for a new machine but in order to get insurance to pay for it, I need a new sleep study. I get a choice of an at home or the sleep lab. Duh, at home, right? Results of the at home, I ...

Re: Resmed Airsense 10 question
If that's the case for you, that sucks. Fortunately for me, my insurance doesn't work that way. My insurance is Medicare Advantage. It has covered 100% of CPAP gear costs, with no copay. A yearly visit to a doctor with a copay of $18 is the only time it needs to be established I use the machine (co...

Re: CPAP Class Action Lawsuit Settlement
I returned both a System One and a BiPAP Dreamstation. Received replacements for both, not using them though. I also purchased a replacement at my own cost. I filled out all the forms online and from my understanding, I should get paid for both machines along with getting paid for having to purchase...

Re: Waking Up to Pee once a night
if I have a few adult beverages in the afternoon/evening, my apnea numbers go WAY down, Smoke a joint in the morning before looking at your numbers. The numbers will always look good. Wake 'n bake? I won't say that I've never done this.. Don't need an entire joint though. With the super h...

Re: Resmed Airsense 10 question
It seems that perhaps you're a bit confused as to exactly what compliance means. Or maybe it's me who's confused? Your compliance is only monitored for the first few months of CPAP use, and perhaps if you get a brand-new machine. You say that you've been using this machine for 4 years, so you most ...

Re: CPAP DESTROYED MY LIFE
Hi guys, About a year ago, I tried using an Auto CPAP for one night with the settings at 5 and 7.5, even though I don’t have sleep apnea. I just wanted to try it for a night. Since then, my life has been a living hell. I developed central hypopnea during REM sleep, and I’m basically walking around ...

Re: Waking Up to Pee once a night
I'm abnormal, there I said it. Every night, right before bed, I drink a big glass of ice water. If I don't, I'm VERY dry during the night. Yes, I do use the CPAP humidifier and XyliMelts as well. 99% of the time I don't have to get up overnight to urinate. To further add to my strangeness, if I have...

Re: Resmed Airsense 10 question
Hopefully this isn't a repeat question as I did a search but didn't find exactly what I was looking for, and I apologize if this is a repeat. I have a resmed airsense 10 that I've had a little over 4 years, it did not come with an sd card as it has always sent the info to stay in compliance with my...

Re: Am I recycling exhaled air with P10 pillow?
Thanks. Pugsy, I believe you about the heated tube. Just wondering of others find relief by turning the temp down, and what the right balance is to prevent condensation? I'm going to first try turning down the heated tube temp and see if slightly cooler air gives me a better sensation. Dog: After t...
