Help Reading OSCAR Report

https://imgur.com/a/KhUDLAE https://imgur.com/a/KhUDLAE Could anyone please tell me if there is something I need to pay attention to on my OSCAR report? I have Central Sleep Apnea, was reading about what my BiPAP machine should record and it said I should look for a CAHI reading? I didn't see anywh...

Re: Phillips / Philips Respironics recent recall notice discussion thread

Has anyone gotten a replacement machine this way, with no doctors or scrips involved? I did. I think Philips is over this whole thing because when I registered they were all about having a doctor's prescription. They've gotten down to accepting DME paperwork. You'll need to have your DME fax the se...

Re: Phillips / Philips Respironics recent recall notice discussion thread

Checked my status of replacement today- it used to say that it wasn't matched to a DME and requested either I sync up with the dream mapper or have my Doctor fax my prescription - I had my doctor fax my prescription - and now the status says that my DME will receive my replacement machine and the D...

Re: Phillips / Philips Respironics recent recall notice discussion thread

I registered my unit a year and half ago and still have not heard squat. My sleep doctor says the harm of not using the unit is far more serious than the possible side affects of the issue. What to do Someone earlier mentioned getting a filter that goes between your hose and your mask. I don't know...

Re: Phillips / Philips Respironics recent recall notice discussion thread

I made a big mistake and hope I won’t have to start at “square one”. I have an dream station1 and system one cpap machines. I registered them both last June and got confirmation numbers for each one. I checked the Philips portal when it first started for both machines. One confirmation number said ...

Re: Phillips / Philips Respironics recent recall notice discussion thread

This is good to know! I bought the inline filters because I didn't have an extra grand to shell out for a new machine at the time and didn't want to inhale deteriorating foam. I only get a week out of a filter, more than that and the moisture in the CPAP air stream starts growing mold on the filter...

Re: Phillips / Philips Respironics recent recall notice discussion thread

A year and a half ago I asked my family physician for a CPAP prescription. He asked if I wanted a referral to the sleep center. I told him I wouldn't go to the sleep center if I had a referral because they don't even look at my CPAP data if I do bring it in. I know how to set and adjust my CPAP and...

Ask for a home sleep study as it should be much cheaper. My insurance did deny mine stating sleep center would be appropriate as I also have a history of central apneas.
Thanks!

Re: Phillips / Philips Respironics recent recall notice discussion thread

I don't know what to do about mine. They only offered me $25 for my unit (System One, 50 Series). I can't get a prescription for a new machine without a new sleep test and my insurance doesn't cover everything I need for a new sleep test. My options in my area are horrific and I'd have to rent a car...

Re: SoClean and Coronavirus question

Yeah, but what if we injected bleach inside the cell phone? Can we investigate that? Well, since I don't have a science degree in how ultraviolet light affects - anything - and people spend over $100 per month to sit in artificial ultraviolet light to get a tan I guess I wouldn't know, but you're w...

Re: Where to source AirSense 10 Autoset for Her parts in Canada or USA?

I've learned of a new method that allegedly gets the smell out of silicone, but haven't tried yet. Bake the smell out. So long as it is silicone it will do well in temperatures well about 250. Wash silicone with dish soap Preheat your oven to 250 (f) Bake on a cookie sheet for 20 minutes Remove and...

Re: What is a good pulse ox that can record overnight?

I had to dig up my CMS-50D+ as it appears I've picked up the virus. I went for my test Friday so it will be a while. In the mean time, I'm trying to keep myself out of the hospital as best I can. I wanted to upload the information from my Oximeter. When I start it, it says I'm using version 4.4. I o...

That's "Resmed Aircurve 10 Vauto"
There's no such thing as a 's10', they changed the series naming from S something to Aircurve 10, and the machine from "VPAP Auto" to "VAuto".

using the right terms leads more directly to the desired results.
Thank you. I will remember that. =)

Re: Which Is Now Best In BiPAP

Thanks everyone for the recommendations! I'm going to contact the insurance company tomorrow and see what I can get done to get the ResMed S10 AirCurve VPAP Auto w/Heated Humidifier. I'm hoping the best time to do it is when no one wants to see you in person. Maybe they'll cut me some slack since I ...
