Like Pugsy said, there is nothing in the one chart indicating a need to increase the max pressure. However, many of us set the max pressure to 20.0. The reasoning is that you might have nasal...

Re: MAD oral appliance effective alternative to CPAP?
... if CPAP is working with me and I have 100 percent compliance and 1.2 AHI and I am waking up refreshed, why mess with something that is working? You agree? Don't fix what isn't broken. CPAP is the gold standard for treatment of sleep apnea. Gramps and I both had custom MADs made by a sleep denti...

Re: Is Medicare Crazy !?
Your doctor's Rx and Apria's filing for coverage should be enough --------------------> Medicare may continue to cover CPAP devices and accessories if you meet with your doctor in person, and your doctor documents in your medical record that you meet certain conditions and the CPAP is helping you. ...

Re: FDA petition to grant OTC status to CPAP machines
If the medical-industrial complex was doing its job Ridiculous viewpoint. For many people, the use of CPAP takes a lot of experimenting and tweaking. Societies cannot pay for medical professionals to spend all these hours. It's rightly a DIY process. Ever visited the DIY section of a library or You...

Re: Florida Blue won't pay for a follow-up sleep test
It had been over five years since my first sleep test, and I was led to believe that after five years I was supposed to get a new machine, which required a new test to prove I still needed it. Many health insurance policies follow closely the Medicare guidelines. Medicare does not require a current...
