Re: Running out of water

Wake up at4 hours tank dry brand new machine. Replaced by recall. Use full mask although a nose breather. Changed tanks and turned down humidity to 2 from 5 makes no difference. Call and filed complaints and yet no true explanation. I feel this is a manufacturing defect and still can't get it corre...

Re: Poll: Primary Way of Self-monitoring Aspects of Your Therapy

Since I did not desat during either sleep test, I had not used a pulse-ox for several years. When starting chemo last year, I bought a new one--just to ease my mind. Re: Poll: Primary Way of Self-monitoring Aspects of Your Therapy

It's not an either/or answer.

Screen data is used daily as an alert to bad therapy or a confirmation of good therapy.

OSCAR is used for any necessary troubleshooting.

(Screen has more data than myAir. More false alerts with myAir.)

my mask is Swift FX (exhaust vent partly covered with gauze).
This is a bit of concern. CPAP masks are designed to vent at levels necessary to prevent CO2 buildup. Covering part of the vent could allow CO2 to rise to unhealthy levels.

Re: Cleaning the inside of a machine?

On the other hand, from 2011: Has anyone ever used an old brick CPAP rigged with a HEPA filter and an oxygen mask to supply clean air for woodworking. I do some art work with my scrollsaw and use a dust mask but it fogs up my glasses and is hot. I am wondering if I got an old CPAP on craigslist to u...

Hi all, still hoping someone might still have a use for this before I toss it. It's such a unique device.
You would stand a better chance of finding a user if you would edit the subject line to: Donating Encore "Mako" Infineer USB card reader.

Re: Philips Respironics Recall V2.0 Questions and Answers

So measuring the amount of water they both take, the new one takes about 1/3 less water. It's a poorly designed, crude machine, and I'm hoping at some point they correct the chamber size. Is your objective to use a certain amount of water or to keep your nasal passages from drying? The horrorshow o...

MyAir is mostly useless junk. <redacted>. It has made compliance reporting very easy for me and my DME. . Yes, myAir makes compliance reporting easy. Contrary to the standard shade that is thrown on myAir by forum regulars here, there is another use for myAir that is more important. At my regional ...
