Re: BIPAP Noise
Is SleepHQ better than Sleepyhead? SleepyHead is no longer supported. Most users switched to OSCAR. As compared to OSCAR, SleepHQ is easier to use and much easier to post in this forum. And, the forum members can zoom in on the SleepHQ charts. I'm hanging on to OSCAR, because we never know when the...

Re: Paradoxically (sic) insomnia
Paradoxical insomnia, also known as sleep state misperception or subjective insomnia, is a sleep disorder where individuals believe they are getting little to no sleep, despite objective evidence of a normal or adequate sleep duration. Essentially, they feel like they're awake all night, even when ...

Re: REM Sleep without antonia & REM Behavior Disorder
I marked it up for you.  And to think all the opening poster wanted to do was to ask about REM sleep disorder and REM without atonia. Julie there are times when you can be so ... what's the word, anal? From what I understand (,) this is a disorder that means you move when you should...

Re: Stomach Sleep - best sleep ever, but shoulders destroyed
my head. I cannot sleep without a pillow, even on my stomach. My shoulder naturally slides under the pillow to prop me up. I'm concerned the pillow will do some damage in the long-term to your neck. Remember what Falcon said, Personally, I found that it actually took a little time to get used to th...

Re: Stomach Sleep - best sleep ever, but shoulders destroyed
is there a sensible solution to train myself to keep the mouth shut? Some claim to have done it by training the tip of the tongue to stay on the roof of the mouth. Many others have had no success. Human anatomies vary. Is there some magic chin strap that will gently force me to keep the jaw shut? N...

Re: REM Sleep without antonia & REM Behavior Disorder
Please clarify the subject line. I don't understand that part of the diagnosis. Do you have REM Behavior Disorder or not? What are your symptoms?
How are you doing? Are you sleeping well? Do you have energy during the day? What does your CPAP efficacy data generally look like?

Re: DS1 to DS2 - Medicare 5 Yr Replacement Time Frame

My philosophy is to get a new machine as soon as insurance will pay for it. Just let the DME try for insurance preapproval. Don't take delivery un...
