Re: Phillips / Philips Respironics recent recall notice discussion thread

Again: 4-20 is not a "setting". It is WIDE OPEN--minimum to maximum, and not very effective--or comfortable. Luckily, the clinical manuals are available (and FREE) online, and the patient can tighten the range as needed. Why wouldn’t you want an Auto PAP machine to have access to the full operating...

Re: Philips Respironics Recall V2.0 Questions and Answers

I’m still waiting for any news about a replacement or repair of my Dreamstation Go travel machine. Has anyone gotten a repair or replacement of their Dreamstation Go?

Re: Philips Respironics Recall V2.0 Questions and Answers

I have a Dreamstation Go that I had used for traveling. I registered the unit back in June and haven't heard anything since. Have any Dreamstation Go owners received a replacement yet? I'll be doing some traveling soon and I'm not sure what I will do.

Re: Tube cleaning

OP, here’s a link to cleaning information from ResMed. https://www.resmed.com/en-us/sleep-apnea/cpap-parts-support/cleaning-cpap-equipment/ I’m sure you can find similar information at other manufacturers’ websites. To answer your original question, I use store-brand baby shampoo to clean my mask, t...

Re: Tube cleaning

Yes. What’s your point? The cleaning isn’t for dirt as much as it’s to reduce the load of bacteria, mold, and mildew that grows in the tubing over time. i'm thinking that for me, the laziest man on earth, it's not worth cleaning out something that you are breathing anyway. i don't make any effort t...

Re: Tube cleaning

Hi Friends, Please suggest a brand name for the soap that is used to clean cpap tubings Thanks Jayshree What are you trying to clean? Nothing but your filtered room air is going through it. The filtered room air still contains bacteria and other germs. The heated and humidified tubing can certainly...

Re: ResMed AirSense 11 - A sneak peak

Thanks for posting this. I’m hoping we will hear about a release in the coming months. I’m approaching 20k hours on my AirSense 10 Autoset and I’d like to be able to replace it with the new model when it dies.

Re: Dreamstation Go Review

Thanks for posting the review! I purchased a Dreamstation Go, but haven’t used it much due to the lack of a dedicated humidifier. I’m going to try the HDM units as well as the muffler.

Re: New machine, drop in AHI

Both machines are auto. The preset range is the same (4-20) and my average nightly pressure is also about the same ( around 7).

Anyone else have a similar experience?

New machine, drop in AHI

Hey all. I'd like to get some opinions from the experts here on the forum. I've used a Respironics System One CPAP machine for just over 4 years. I've been sleeping well and my AHI has always run from about 3.5 to 4.5. This past weekend I started using a new machine, the Resmed AirSense 10 Autoset. ...
