you said nothing about when you went to sleep. May be that you sleep enough hours. It is also related to your age which you hide.

Ask them why they wanted to do the UPPP surgery on you, and did not suggest the use of a CPAP?

Re: OT: Colonoscopy Prep
I survived colon cancer , but one result was to put me on more frequent scopings than average, so I have been through this quite a few times. Drinking the prep as cold as you can get it is very helpful. Using a straw cuts down on the time that the distasteful solution spends passing over your tongu...

In my case I have upper and lower removable dentures. Would the MAD device work for me? With my current APAP I remove the lower denture for the night.

WHY ALL THE POLITICAL POSTS ON THE FORUM? Have you nothing better to do with your time? This is a CPAP support forum not a political push your crap forum. There are lots of places to put this stuff that should be put elsewhere. Don't really care to see any side of the topic. Wrong place. You are no...

Re: NOW-what to do about my insomnia???
If I was going to sleep at 10 pm as you do then I would wake up at 3 am and then I would not know what to do. So I drag my going to bed to past midnight by watching TV (BBC news and Charlie Rose). Then if I wake up before 5 pm I would remove the mask but leave the chinstrap on. Most of the times I m...

Re: Flecks in Humidifer Tank
Hi All, What have I been up too? Well, I got me 3 stents to the circumflex artery of the heart about a year and a half ago. Sleep Apnea related? The cardiologist thinks its possible. They put me on cardiac drugs then my Lisinopril decided to try to kill me with angio adema. 2 trips to the ER, one b...

Re: Dry mouth
Not from CPAP:
The two main symptoms of Sjogren's syndrome are:
•Dry eyes. Your eyes may burn, itch or feel gritty — as if there's sand in them.
•Dry mouth. Your mouth may feel like it's full of cotton, making it difficult to swallow or speak.

Re: CPAP mask with built-in chin strap?
Can you describe how would you attach a chin strap to this nasal mask? If you attach a chinstrap to a head strap of the mask then the mask would be pulled down. http://www.directhomemedical.com//masks-cpap-bipap/eson-nasal-cpap-mask.jpg http://www.directhomemedical.com/accessories/chinstrap-tiara-ru...
