Has anyone here used Wellue Oximeters

My CMS 50I seems to have died.
I am looking for a replacement.
I came across Wellue Oximeters and would like to know if anyone here has used them and what they think of them.
Is OSCAR familiar with Wellue?

Re: Filter reminder to those in the West

I guess I am lucky. I changed mine a couple days ago at the 30 day reminder.
I could tell the difference between the old one and the new one, but I had to look close.
I am in San Diego and apparently not close enough to any fires to be affected this time.

Re: Need help with Apria charge…

I have dealt with Crapria on and off for almost 11 years. Every time I talk to them the ask for a credit card to put on file. I have never and will never given them a valid credit card. I always have them bill me and have my bank send them a check from the bill pay function. I have received 2 machin...

Re: Finally took the test...

For what it's worth my Sleep Study AHI was only 83. Now when I see AHI above 2, it means I have had a bad night. I have had many nights at Zero AHI. I have had 3 machines over the past 11 years. I have seen about half a dozen sleep specialists. Pugsy helped me get started and along with a very knowl...

The Great Pillow Question

Who can recommend a good pillow for a side Sleeper with a mask? My current pillow is over 10 years old and it may be getting close to time for replacement. I have been using latex pillows for as long as I can remember. I wonder if some of the newer technologies might offer improved sleep. All sugges...

Re: What's your favorite over the nose nasal mask?

My daily driver for years has been the Sleepweaver line. Current version is the Sleepweaver 3D cloth nasal mask. I like it because I am a side sleeper, and being cloth it is very compliant and does not dig into my face. What I don't like about it, it is prone to leaking and requires very delicate ad...

Re: Post nasal drip interference

I use a nasal mask. Sleepweaver 3D.
I have had a nasal drip as long as I can remember. Sometimes really bad, like constant. Other times not so bad.
Somehow, when I put on my mask it stops. I am thankful.
If my nights were as bad as my days the past couple years, I would go through maskS daily.

Re: Lincare unethical?

You have not been a member here long enough to se the "official" opinion on most Major DMEs like Lincare and Apria to name a couple. If there lips are moving they are lying. If it is midnight and a DME tells you it is dark outside, go outside and look for yourself. I doubt Medicare can keep all the ...

Re: Have you had a COVID-19 Vaccine or have an appt?

For those knocking Vitamin D, The real issue is determining the proper amount to take. There is a blood test 25 Hydroxy Vitamin D. The government has determined that if you test below 20, you may get rickets. If you test above 30 you will be fine. Having listened to many MDs and PHDs, some of whom I...

Re: Mask suggestions for a friend

I have been trying different masks for 10 years.
I have used at least 15 or 20 different masks.
I have a few favorites.

Having now become now expert in masks, I am sure there is no such thing as a perfect mask.

Re: Best BiPAP

The Resmed Airsense 10 and Aircurve 10 offer a heated hose with an O2 injection port built in.
This is the best solution I have found.
Been using O2 with my PAP for 10 tears.
I also require a humidifier and heated hose.

Re: No one seems to get my settings right

Jeff, learn to post your charts here. I also use an Aircurve 10. My untreated AHI was 84. When I made adjustments per Sleep doc recommendations I could stand it for an hour. When I adjusted opposite the docs recommendation things got better. The experts here have guided me for over 10 years. Beats e...

Re: ResMed MyAir

I bought a used Aircurve machine over a year ago.
Some how I am connected to my air. I don't remember signing up. But they somehow have my email address so I guess I must have.
