What noise?
My Airsense 10 Autoset for her is "vewwy, vewwy" quiet.
As advertised.

Re: Are "in-line filters" legit and useful? or just a scam?

We had some lying around (unopened), that I ordered for the bullfrog awhile back. When my oncologist told me that my white count was low, I opened a new one for my hose. No idea how effective it can be, but whatever . . . I found the AB filter setting in my machine, and turned it on. It looks like m...

Re: Can artificial light damage mask?

The water flosser works quite well, as does a fizzy denture tablet--
---But it takes a lot of rinsing to get the minty smell out.

Re: Cpap machine

Hopefully, the System One has had its foam replaced . . .
If you can afford to self-pay, go for it, but specify Airsense 10 AUTOSET
or AUTOSET FOR HER. The Elite and "CPAP" models are limited to single pressure.
The "free" loaners seem to be intended for those who have no choice.

Re: Can I use antibacterial soap on humidifier

What defines "mild", anyway?
If you can use it on yourself without getting a reaction--probably close enough.
The idea is that tiny traces left after rinsing do not cause redness and itching.
Since everyone is different, my mild may not be your mild.

Re: Phlegm in throat can't sleep

I might suspect GERD. (Gastroesophageal reflux) You would have had it all along, but some people think that positive air pressure makes it more noticeable, if not a bit worse. Note: "Some people" are not necessarily right--but it's still possible. I take a prescription PPI (pantoprazole), which help...

Re: Philips Respironics Recall V2.0 Questions and Answers

It is an outrage that Philips is getting away with this CRAP!
No wonder the internet lawyer scum are slobbering over victimizing people further.
I guess it's a sign of the times . . .
The woods are full of carnivores, people.

Re: OT: Super Froggy--cancer, part 2

Bullfrog had his dr appointment this morning--"picture of health". Well, that makes one of us . . . I don't quite feel like crap--just crap-ish. Mostly a good thing. This afternoon we see a SHIP rep to find our best Medicare part D supplement. We do this every year--the one year we didn't, we got sc...

I considered chin up strips, but decided to cut my own out of painter's tape.
It worked rather well, up until my yap somehow learned to behave without help.

Re: Terrible Velcro On Philips Nuance Gel Pillow Mask Driving Me Nuts

I believe the flimsy headgear was why I quit that stupid mask. It was easier to switch masks than make my own headgear. Things have changed. Of course, now I have been making my own beanies and headcovers, because Medicare will not cover even the tiniest share of the outrageous prices the commercial...
