Re: Why dooes a DME need full copy of sleep study to sell me supplies?
I somehow doubt my insurance company has a copy, but maybe. The last time I got a new CPAP machine my insurance company wanted to rent it until it was paid off. My employer switch to a new insurance provider on Jan 1 of the next year. The new insurance company wanted to immediately pay off the rema...

Edit: It also only does it upon exhale.
Bad connection = noise.

Unsurprisingly, the tendency to be anal is related to other undesirable traits.

YouTube may have a video for recovering the function--but not the data.
The cheapest, and only sure solution is a new card.
You can follow how-to videos, but there are no guarantees.
Good luck.

If this is recent, it could be either soiled/worn pillows or headgear.

I feel that some "dirt" is beneficial by exercising our immune systems,
but knowledge of the processes is useful if they are needed--but only then
For example, I became much more conscientious during chemo.
After chemo, I welcomed my first runny egg in months.
And tap water!

It appears that you are sensitive to sound, and have been for some time.
There are solutions, you need to speak to your doctor.
If it affects your sleep, insurance may cover therapy or devices, whatever is needed.

Re: Does Covid worsen sleep apnea?
I like how proper diagnosis has finally become a medical objective. My tonsils and adenoids were removed at age 6, due to frequent infections. My illnesses continued for decades, until I was finally prescribed an antihistamine. "DAMN!, Is this how other people feel all the time?" Obviously, medicine...

I wonder how the 5 year built-in service plan with Medicare balances out
with the initial profit of cheaper machines versus reliability of resmed equipment.
Perhaps repair statistics can influence sales?
One can hope.

You need to know the "secret handshake" to unlock the clinical menu. In most modern machines, it may be holding down two buttons at the same time for several seconds. Aside from the actual manual, trial and error may be your best bet--good luck! You could change the title of your original post to in...

Unless something seems to be "off" don't worry about it.
Normal lifespan is close to the Medicare 5 year line.
Get a back up machine, and sleep well.
Cpap.com and secondwindcpap.com are excellent sources.
OOP, unfortunately, so buying local is beyond foolish.
